Preflower defoiliation

We're about 10 days out from the flip and I wanted to let them breathe a little. These girls are just rocking. Turned on left light engine, wayyyy too much intensity! Holy shit! I wanted to get the light even but we will have to turn them down. At 50% 30 inches high We're getting 28k to 30k end to end. Not yet! Lol These HLG quantum boards are top of the line.

No matter how many times you do something...you are still on the learning curve !

Here’s some pics of my recent harvest with dr earth first time using it. Ran it with 4 pots soil/3 pots coco (7 plants total in 3 gallon) I heard you can’t use dr earth in small pots ..Triangle kush crossed with wifi from csi. Used 4-4-4 durring veg then the flower booster duration my flower. Also hit them with 2 teas during flower from a brand called natures pride lands I think. 1-5.5-5.5 blend with some molasses and a bit of fish oil. 3 harvests under my belt. Still learning a lot.

Day 70/71

Starting 12/12 tomorrow. Ramping up intensity quickly was a bit of a gamble, but the plants are bouncing back well. I’ll adjust my journal to note a slower intensity increase next time. For now, I’ll do selective defoliation over the next 3 weeks and hit hard on Day 21 with pruning and the final support net. The last pieces for the propagation tent arrive soon, and I’m eager to start the next run with different cultivars. Big thanks to everyone for sharing their grows—it's been inspiring!

FMFX = 2tbsp per gallon 50/50 veg and flower girl every 3 weeks

BOO = 1 tbsp per gal bi-weekly 50/50 veg and flower girl

Those buds look dense AF!!!! And frosty too!!! Dr.E kicks ass, been mixing in some downtoearth too, i have their azomite, helps really well when recycling the soil. Gonna use old soil on next auto run, wanna try to add some worms, red wigglers, gonna try 5-7 gallon pot.

Thanks comrade! We're pushing along, they have been very cooperative with my curious mind! Lol they have been abused but they also want to put on a show! HLG is definitely a powerhouse.

Gettin dark up under that net. I would clean up everything under that net, asap, its stealing energy from canopy. Just an observation. Especially using 2 nets. Its a pita to do it later. And that shit down there is useless, unless u need clones!!!lol

Thank you! You've just given me the courage to do so! I have been on them so tough the past 10 days I was afraid to touch them! No kidding man, I have put them through the ringer!

They like that abuse in veg, just make sure you give them some recovery time in between. Maybe a couple of day's or so. You should be able to tell when they're happy again.

Day 75

This is day 4 of flower. The girls are bouncing back from my light intensity test, yes that's what it was officially now lmao! Ha! Never the less, I like the 2 week feeding better than the 3 week. 2 weeks isn't bad for my schedule. Also the 3 week is very sensitive the last few days of that cycle. During last weeks LIGHT TEST the FMFX suffered the most, I think that was due to her getting low on reserves. I topped dressed her today, and we will finish this run without change and take notes. My money is on the 2 weeker js. Stretch is starting and things are getting funky! I love it!

Day 82

Feed day for BOO, hit her with 3 tbsp veg, 2 tbsp of FG and 5 tbsp of EWC. I always add in a little compost to keep the dust down. We a few days in on the 2nd week of flower and BOO is stacking in nice. The FMFX is coming along but a little behind for now it seems with her flower set. Watered in with BMC and yucca, just tap water with CUZN filter. We're cruising right along.

Day 90

18 days since the flip the flowers are setting in well across the canopy. Really impressed with Dr Earth dry amendments. BOO was defoliated yesterday, FMFX will be done this coming Monday. I feel like the 2 week feeding is smoother than the 3 weeks, moving forward I'll just stick bi-weekly top dress. Also increased watts from each light to 135 (270 watts total). Sitting approximately 41k to 42k lux across the canopy, giving us a DLI of 30.
