I created an ugly contraption to stop my plants from falling over. The winds are strong so they fell over a couple of times a week, which was annoying. Next year they're going in the ground and I make some better trellis or enclosure for them.

Bonsai is looking okay, but attacked by a snail and deficient etc. Oops.

Frisian Ducks still looking very bare, but seem to be doing ok.. and they're flowering. Frisian Dew is flowering and happy. I bet all the Frisian plants will look sick in late flower, already starting to go purple.

Early Skunk also flowering and happy

Thanks! I'm around the property all day. I'll attach a photo of the rest of the garden, 99% of it is trees, bonsai trees, seedlings, cuttings, etc.

On another note, I had my first experience with budrot. The Sweet Tooth Auto Bonsai had several buds that were affected it seems. I cut them all off, hope it doesn't spread.

I wonder if the shrivelled leaves etc are related to the budrot.

I'm not super devastated or anything, I took 0 care of this particular plant, it's just a fun little experiment. I'd be a tad more upset if the Frisian Dew got budrot.

It's a shame I had so much trouble growing the Frisian Ducks, they look so cool in flowering. Also a single pic of the Frisian Dew. (Any yield estimates on the Dew? I know it's hard to say. It's just looking dense IMO.)

I suspect the Sweet Tooth Auto Bonsai might still be suffering from bud rot, not entirely sure though... :lol:

I cut it down and threw it all out. I'm not going to try to salvage 10g of bud among all the rot. After cutting it down I gave it a serious shake and a big fat caterpillar fell out as well. So I will be spraying everything else with BT today, just to be sure.

Big update, many pictures, since it's been a while.

All plants (Except the Sweet Tooth auto, RIP) are doing great. The Ducks are still showing deficiency, but somehow the buds themselves look healthy'ish.

The Dew is showing a tad deficiency too but I'd expect it at this point, cold, wet, windy, and late in flower.

The Early Skunk is doing pretty well considering I just threw it in the ground directly from Jiffy pot, and it was attacked by slugs, and I didn't feed it much or water it etc.

All plants seem to be under thrip attack. I haven't dealt with it for a few weeks because I didn't think it was a big deal, but now it seems like it has escalated a little, so I might have to spray em with something like insect soap / potassium salts of fatty acids, that should be safe during flower, right?

Anyway, I don't think the thrips will be able to ruin the harvest, they just make some of the leaves look bad.

More budrot in the Frisian Dew. Removed 3 buds in total.

Also found a really pretty bud on the backside of the Frisian Dew, way more purple than the buds on the front.

The first instance of bud rot in one of the Frisian Ducks.

Frisian Dew is stable, no bud rot was spotted today. The colours of the Frisian Dew tho, looks so good even though it's not entirely happy.

Going to harvest at least the Frisian Dew tomorrow or the day after. It's too rainy and I keep finding buds with budrot. I think I've removed a total of 6 buds. It still has a shitload of buds, so I'm not too worried, but it feels like it's time.

Will leave the rest to grow a bit more until I see bud rot.

I also ordered a bowl trimmer, because I realize I'll have a shitton to trim. Going to hand trim all the biggest buds, but all the small stuff is getting the bowl trimmer and used for edibles or as backup weed.

Prepping the Frisian Dew for harvest. It's raining nonstop, so I've taken it indoors, turned on a fan and I've shaken off most of the water.

Now just letting it chill for a day or two indoors, to catch any sneaky budrot festering. I wish I could give it a few more weeks, but it's losing a bud per day due to bud rot in this weather.

Harvested most of the Frisian Dew today and hung it to dry. Most of the harvest are popcorn buds or smaller buds, and a few bigger ones, hanging on the right side of the drying rack.

It would have benefited from some more weeks of fattening up. So I've left a bunch of the smallest buds on the plant and put it back outside. Worst case? I lose buds I couldn't be bothered harvesting. Best case? They fatten up and survive without bud rot and I can harvest them in a few weeks. :hump:

Did 3 buckets worth of budwashing, one with hydrogen peroxide, but surprisingly very little dirt or bugs or anything. I guess the week of non-stop rain has washed off the worst.

Now just have to dial in the drying room.
