Does this look normal to you?

Merry X-mas or Kwanzaa or whatever. I've got 2 Purple Power seedlings that are about 4 days old and I noticed today the leaves are "cupping" if you will and I was just wondering if this was something to worry about or if it was normal?
I got the pictures, piece of shit camera though.

looks fine,if your temps are low at night that will cause the leaves to go up like that.

my ones in flower are holding there leaves up high

How old are they? My baby is 2 days old and she's a little bit smaller than yours. She's about 1 inch tall and has 4 leafs. She has two small leafs that have these sorta splits in them.. then she has 2 big dopey leafs... Can anyone tell me what those type of leafs mean?

and you know that wood bark/mulch is going to make for an acidic soil right? wont be a problem until you start nuting, which wont be for a while. but if there are nutes already in your soil than you must properly ph your water.
looking good overall. remember not too overwater. once every 5 days for them at most. add some fine dolomite lime if u r gonna keep that soil to help keep your ph from being over 7 from the wood mulch.
now dont tell me thats Mg soil or I will freak out.

They're about 4 days old. It sprouted pretty quick from only one day of germing too.

I don't actually have a barometer, but since I'm in FL the humidity has been alot higher than normal...

It sucks since I don't have a good gardening/hydro store anywhere in my area to go and get decent soil (fox farm, or whatever) So yeah, I had to settle on some miracle grow. However it's my first grow so that's also why I'm doing CFL's. I'll be transplanting them in a few weeks so any suggestions on what kind of soil to get at a Home Depot/Lowes type situation.

Miracle Grow Moisture control is readily available and pretty cheap. Just make sure you add perlite and DOLOMITE LIME to help keep your ph in check. Just remember that miracle grow comes with ferts in it so dont add any ferts for at least 30 days in that soil. Im growing in some right now and they are doing great.

Just about one and half days. It was pretty crazy, there was a little green sticking up when I left for work and when I got home it was standing up about and inch.

I'm using the Miracle grow potting mix right now. It seems to be doing fine for the moment. I've seen a few of my friends grow with MG with no trouble so I don't know why it gets a bad rep. Thanks for the tip about the nutes. It'll probably be baby steps whenever it comes to adding anything.

nitrous is dead on with the lime and perlite. just make sure you dont overwater. most ppl have bad experiences with mg b/c they nute on top of it and overwater and overfeed with additional ferts. baby steps sounds good. remember your biggest problems will come from overwatering.

Right on. The one thing I did notice is the soil seems to dry up pretty quick. I maybe give it a fine misting every day, enough to where the top soil is wet, but I never pour water directly into the pot just because I've been worried about over watering.

they look great so keep up the good work and watch the great works of the bud. and like some of the others on here have said just watch the ph and things like always and if you need a meter go to ebay you can get then cheap off there!

I think about half an inch. I did the green house method where I soaked the seeds in water for 24 hours and just planted the seeds in the soil. I was surprised how quick they came up. How old are your seeds?

Cool I've been thinking about getting some of the more "techie" things that everyone has been talking about on here, however I maybe smoke a bit much so my motivation is nill.
