Almost a month now into growing, all is goin better than extected, gotta say, im already addicted. I topped off the rez today, the ladies are really starting to drink. Yesterday, about 10 hours into the light cycle I topped my plants, the pics i got you can really see the exact spot, its so damn bushy, Waccy Macc put a pic up a couple pages bac if you want to kno where i cut them. Will put them into flowering in the next week or so.

Pic 2. is the WR and MS, the PBK is the only one that i didnt top, shes had enough stress as it is

id remove the top two fan leaves on this one bc it will allow for all the side shoots to really catch up and equal out in height then u can top all the shoots once more then flower

I too pull fan leaves when needed. I top, fem., lollipop, cut lower branches, etc.

Different situations call for different remedies. One thing doesnt solve all problems.

Vital nutrients and enzymes are stored in fan leaves that are VERY NECESSARY for your plants growth and developement.just think about that for a minute before you go choppin fan leaves.If you chop too many it WILL stunt growth,,now fuck around with those fan leaves if you want but your plant needs them thats why they are the BIGGEST and BROADEST leaves on the plant!

bc the fan leaves also block light from lower sights so choppin a few will do no real harm at all,think about that one...if ur plant has an abundance of fans then it will do no real harm to remove 2

Naaa that wouldnt really hurt a nice size plant with many fans just 2 ,,naaa...but dont go into a fan leave chopping frenzy and get the idea in your head and then make that a grow habit that you dont need those specific leaves when they play an imp. role!

well obviously but fran leaves may need to be removed as said... toping fiming and simply needing to keep leaves away from suplementary lighting are all reasons to cut fan leaves....
