The trichomes are pretty much all cloudy. Some have amber mixed in now, but only a rare few, so harvest will probably be still at least another 3-5 days. I am doing a molasses flush now too...they have a bit of CalMag, Sugar Daddy, and molasses, which I plan on running until Thursday. Then I am making a switch to pH'd water with flora-kleen to dissolve any remaining nutes. I hope to harvest on Sunday!

hey man love the grow you did realy well for first go. im grow ww at the moment aswell. and would love to know what the yield on each of your white widows is. im trying to figure a around about figure they can yield. peace.

I just harvested last night, and oh boy there was a lot more there than I expected. :-D I don't have access to the pictures I took right now (don't have the camera) but I will put them up as soon as I get it. I also built a simple drying box to hopefully speed up the drying time and make it more consistent. It had a total cost of 8$.

Here are the materials:

Home Depot cardboard box: 2$
Wood dowels: 2$
A computer fan rigged to a random power suppy (proper electrical specs): 4$

I have the dowels pushed through the sides of the box evenly spaced near the top, and the buds are hanging from them. I cut a hole at the bottom on a side for the computer fan, and on the inside another piece of cardboard to act as a diverter. There are also a few exaust holes poked on the sides up top for ventilation.

Oh and I also smoked a bit of dried trim using my vaporizer, and shit I was high as a kite off of one bowl. It was a very euphoric high, which is great since that was mainly what I wanted. I would think it is safe to say that the bud should have great potency.

congrats man. so whats the wet weight any idea? looking forward to seeing the pics, you might not want to stick a fan on them just me but i just like to leaving mine hanging for a few days, i find even a small fan drys them to fast

Unfortunately I never took a wet weight, even though I would have liked too. I left my scale in a friend's car by accident, and then he left it at his brother's house...and three months later I still haven't got it back. :wall:

I have been checking those buds in the drying box, and so far I am satisfied since they aren't drying too fast, but still faster than if I was to hang them without air flow. I have heard that a lot though, and I am being careful as I can!:)

I think the cardboard box may be helping with a pre-cure, but I really am making a leap there. My idea was that you know when you put fruit in a paper bag it ripens faster, so maybe the buds will do somewhat of a similar thing. Maybe the bud will have a better flavor though I am going to cure it with those glass canning jars anyway. What do you think?

I will have pictures up today in a couple hours!

that sucks those things can be expensive. i think if you dont have the fan on them you should be alright. its a good way to make sure they dont go moldy or stale tho. i wouldnt have a clue sorry. i would say the reason fruit ripens faster in a bag is the same as curing bud in a jar. so not sure if the box thing would pre cure it but if it smokes nice dont stop doing somthing that works:)

i recon you got about 5 or 6oz dry there. let me know tho did you find any problems at all with ww i should know about? how did they handle in flower? thats the main problem i have is flower time

I didn't have too many problems with flower, since the nutes I used are fairly simple and complete. I did run out of Cal-Mag during veg, and I didn't think it would make too much of a difference but it did. Other than that, the only other problem was getting some bacterial slime on the roots, which some mild dosing of hydrogen peroxide took care of. I don't really know how much it will be dry, though a friend of mine saw it in person and he estimates at least 8 oz because of the density and volume (it is more than there looks in the picture of the table I guess). Only a wiegh will tell! The buds are drying very nicely, and I tried a bit today which tasted very smooth already, with a little spice and otherwise little flavor. The potency was, well, I was high off two hits. I am excited for the final product! On a side note, I was wondering how much you all pay for an oz in your region for some about a 9/10 grade bud?

well all over western australia it dont matter on the quality every1 just pays around 350 a oz. bit stupid since you could get ww hydro for same price as some crappy bush. yer it always looks smaller on image i suppose so it prob is around 8oz. what did you use for cal-mag? epsom salts? thought white widow was a 1 hit wonder.

i was just thinking hell hope mine turns out as well as yours il have 12 big plants under 1 600 and a huge plant under another 600 so if i get 2 oz per plant under the 1 600 im looking at 24oz + 4 oz from the bigger plant so like 28oz that would be awesome im growing them for same length as you so enles i mess up wouldnt be to differnt wow thats $19000 worth of bud:). how tall where they when they got to 2 months?

I was going to do a few more plants originally, but the size of my space and also the light worked out perfectly. The main thing that makes the bud weigh a lot more from what I have seen is using some type of carb loading nute, like the SugarDaddy or molasses which I both used. Watch out though, you only want to start the molasses about a week before harvest cause it will FUCK the SHIT out of your rez. I swear though using those 2 things over doubled the amount of trichs (potency) and made it much more firm (weight). They were about 18 inches tall or so at 2 months, though I topped them as well so they were horizontily about 24 inches or so. I used Cal-Mag, which is cal-mag I though lol but I know that epsom salts DO work as well. Here is a link to some: http://htgsupply.com/viewnutrient.asp?nutrientID=23698861 . iv started 1 on my pc but havnt put it on net i have a virus called winiguard which realy fucks up your pc so cant put on net and dont have a camera atm. iv got monster bud or something would that work? or bud link? checking out that link now
