Clones are always faster and more productive. Anyone that claims otherwise just doesn't know better.

What a crock.
Clones are for dealers and people that have to pay for seeds.
Clones are eventually useless and no where near as good as a great plant grown from seed.
Clones are definitely not more productive and anyone who tells you different is talking shit as usualbongsmilie

Clones are definately faster. Dunno bout the yield differnce, my clones are pretty productive imo.

i like seeds > clones, even though i only use clones =(

the only real advantage i see from clones is its faster to get a crop going and maintaining a schedule.

but i must be talking a bunch of crock =)

If you seed a clone and then clone a seed the seeds produced contain the entire molecular structure of mutant ninja strains that produce buds so huge they eat small house pets.

There you have it!

CLONES HAVE BEEN PROVEN TIME AND TIME AGAIN YOU kNOw WHAT YOUR GETTIN unLIKE SEEDS TRUE THEY ARE NICE TO HAVE INCASE SHIT GOES SOUTH BUT

i THINK YOUR JUST SAYIN SHIT FOR SHIT SAKE.

LETS START WITH

Faster: the idea of a clone is you can pretty much cut the veg stage in half or more

better quality: True genetics is key here if you clone from a shitty mom most likely you'll get shitty clones so picking out a nice perfect mom "yes from seed dillhole" is key to gettin nice clones.

amount period: so lets say you start with 100 seeds buy the time you get those get 2 feet tall you could have hacked down a mom cloned her one hundered times then grow those up cloned those and be laughin your ass off

age does = wisdom: so you have a mom thats years old the clones cut form her are going to be the most stable things around

dont fuck with HERMS AND MALE AND SHIT just getter done>kiss-ass

Everyone is making good points. Yes clones have more advantages. But the question was "do seeds have better yield than clone?" and that all really depends on how long you can veg your clone or seedling before you flower it. When growing from seed, you generally veg longer, and clones are usually flowered after they root. But if you can veg either plant long enough, they should yield about the same.

Bunch of kids that have never really grown anything.
Any top level grower will use seed.
Cannabis cups aren't won with clones.
Clones are like microwaves, they do the job and are quick but the food usually tastes like crap.
I have hundreds of seeds so for me its not a problem.
This is my last post into this childish thread of knowitalls that know nothing:roll:

The quality may be in seeds, but that really wasn't the OP's question.

im a new grower with only 1 grow under my belt, but im going with this guy...

i think the messing about with clones (i.e, rooting hormone/rockwool/humidity domes) is just as much of a pain in the ass as seeds are (germinating/seedling stage)

thats not to say i wont clone a mother on my next grow, just saying apart from the couple weeks you knock off vedge with a clone...seeds are still the way to grow.

Yeah and if you had bothered to read the whole thread you would have found that i had already answered that question properly in the first page.
And to answer your next lot of childish posts i.e."I though you weren't going to post into this thread anymore."
I've heard it all before, bored, why don't you all go make some fake accounts and give yourselves some +rep, bwhahahahabongsmilie

You make a good point. I personally prefer dealing with seedlings also, but in terms of yield and efficiency, clones can be more productive with rotating harvests, etc. Al B. Fuct's rotating OP was one of the best i've seen in terms of yield. I'm not arguing natmoon's points about quality.
