nice grow, good job
yup they all rooted but out of 6 only 5 rooted rather quick so the slow one i just threw out. thx for the support wegotitcheap!
Dam thats awesome. I tried to make clones and it didnt work out. Drop some knowledge on your technique lol I wanna get some clones going
hmm, well it was my first time cloning and all i did was cut 6 clones off of my mother. from the lower branches. trimmed off nodes leaving about 3 of the top nodes. then used a razor to cut up the bottom of the stem. i made about 4 incisions on each clone. then i simply dipped it in my cloning solution which consisted of nutri start, super thrive and grozyme. the rockwool was also drenched in the solution. i then left the 6 clones in a humidity dome and aired it out about twice a day n watered it as needed. it rooted about a week later.
hope that helps.![]()
So you cut them off, then trimmed them, then cut the bottom of the stem after the initial cut. How big were your clones? And also you put your rockwool in a nute solution, cuz that sounds like a good idea. My last question is when you put them in the humidity dome, did you have water in the dome, or were the cubes just sitting in the dome without a pool of water. Thx for the help
they were all about 3-4 inches. ya i soaked it in the solution. well there was small pools of water. what i learned after reading al b fucts cloning thread. is one of the key to cloning is keeping the rockwool cubes at the right dampness. so it cant be too wet or too dry. with the humidity dome most of the time it was too wet. but after i aired it the water usually evaporates faster so right after watering there was a small pool but after airing the pools would be gone.
OH thats awesome advice! cuz i had mine in a constant pool and it probably killed the clones. One last question to bother you with. What was the light situation with the clones? like the same or less?
