No I actually luv the pure breed pitbulls coz they are tuff as and can be extremely loyal. That is the reason i am saying this so the person understands the dog a bit more and they dont get more than they bargained for. I hate to see a dog with owners that dont understand their needs completely. I am only suggesting he do more research on the dog before buying an unknown bloodline breed of Pitbull.

Im a dog lover and I like all breeds of dog so I like to see owners that know about their dogs rather than owners that dont which can result in some kid getting mauled and the Pitbull breed being looked upon badly as it usually is.

Before you criticise me please look at the facts and motives behind what I am saying.

M Blaze ur a hater. I have papers on mine spent 1800 dollars on her and she eats cheesenips and goldfish from my mouth. My buddies choc lab has bit more people than my dog so it is all about the owner. The only reason they have a bad name is clowns like u and horrible owners

As I previously said I luv the breed so im far from being a hater. I have been around dogs all my life including hunting dogs. Why am I getting insulted for stating a few facts and giving the prospective owner some advice?

Also you stated you have papers for your dog which was one point I was getting at. Too many backyard breeders sell these dogs as pure breeds and say they have good pure bloodlines and they are the people that give these dogs a bad name.

Once again please understand what I am saying because I am not putting the breed of dog down.

I and friends have hunting dogs that can and have taken down 200 and 300 pound boars but they would not hurt a child. I can even show you some footage or pics to prove it.

Please dont criticise me without understanding what I am saying because it will only show that you dont know what your talking about.

Oh and dont let your dog eat gold fish from your mouth, Im starting to think your dog is more intelligent than you hahaha

I got a Norwegian that chases those fuckin turkeys down like hes gonna rip them to shreds but he would NEVER put his mouth on a person.

It really sucks to see so many assholes with pitbulls trying to have attack dogs......When my dogs get scared they come to me because I am their leader and thats how a dog/owner relationship should be. Aggression is never a good thing in a dog. When its aggressive toward strangers its only a matter of time before someone (you're close to) spooks him and he attacks.....then you have a euthanized dog

They're wonderful dogs. It doesn't matter which gender you get. I'm not an expert but here are a few things you should know.

1. They're called piggy's for a reason. Don't be alarmed if he/she's not a barker. Pits really don't bark too much. They instead make all types of wierd whinning and grunting sounds. My guy is named moose because he grunts like a moose when he's sad or wants something.

2. Establish dominance as early as you can. Pitbulls are very smart and will try your patience from time to time. Maybe not in an aggressive way, but you'll need to show him who's boss.

3. They're so loving they can be almost annoying. They will take every bit of love you can give them.

4. EXERCISE THEM ALOT! I cannot emphasize this enough. They will get destructive if you don't. There a working breed they need something to do.

5. they're not guard dogs. SO DON'T TRY TO TURN HIM/HER into one. They love people , if you violate this rule they will not stop at keeping outsiders out. They'll slowly move onto you. Most pitbull breeders (Responsible ones) Euthanize aggressive pit bull pups. Once they're gone...you wont get them back.

6. Don't waste your time or money on cheap chew toys. They will pulverize everything. With the exception of the Black colored kong they all suck.

7. Be careful of what you feed them. They have sensitive stomachs. Because they have such powerful jaws they will crush almost anything. Be careful of bones. Most pits I know who eat lots of bones get sick.

8. Just love them. They're very receptive. They're the most loyal dog you'll find.

dont say pits dont bark cuz oh they can bark.. but yes there are some that just grunt..3 of the 4 pits my friend has barks all the time and the pops just chills around but if u piss him off well whine b4 he would atck u insteada barkin ( he dont atck tho lol anymore)( like i said he was raised by fighters, but now with good family is lovable as fuck).. and there fuckin perfect fukin gaurd dogs..some1 knocks on the door or slams car door in front of house they all hear it come straight to the door barking noless and if its some1 they know they get all happy...and ive never seen them go agasinst some1 they new they listen very well.. very good gaurd dogs..true tho they will take all the love u give them..yes ALOT OF excersice and the correct food does help

I'm not saying they can't bark.They're just not very vocal when it comes to barking. Every pit i've known has barked when it's called for it...Not just because. You're wrong they are not guard dogs. They come off like that because people are scared shitless of them. They don't know the difference between friend or foe. They're loyal to you and your family but not your home. Anyone who uses his pit as a guard dog and not just a front to keep people away are doing considerable damage to that dog.

You're a fucking moron, and the reason why pitbull bans are showing up all over this world. Golden retrievers are more likely to bite someone than a pitbull. APBT's temperment is almost 20% points higher than that of a retriever.

lol there not good gaurd dogs uh? then why when there in the house no1 can come into the house unless ur certain people? they fuckin know who is friend or foe.. i walk in the house its all happiness and then 10 mins later some1 walk in that they dunno they all lookin at him inspectin him maken sure he not crazy..and if that person tryed to swing at them or anything hed be over with.. if i swung at them nothing wud happen cept a bark

Im glad you understand what I am saying not like some others who have not read everythig I said and just pick one comment and try to attack me with it and call me names lol.

I have seen the dog Black who is only about 50KG take down a 250KG boar in a creek bed 1 out. These are some of the tuffest dogs that have hunted both here in Australia and in the USA. All hunting is done with only the dogs and knives with no guns.

Im sorry I should have been more clear (too many bongsmilie lol). I was reffering to pitbulls with no papers as we have a problem around here with backyard breeders that have poor quality inbred and crossbred pitbulls. They are the unpredictable dogs im reffering to. Someone mentioned earlier that they payed $1800 for their pitbull with papers and that would be a great dog.
When buying one for $150 then you just need to look into exactly what you are buying.

Thanks for pointing that out to me so I could clarify that because it did sound bad towards the pitbull breed.
