there is stupidity in every "category" of peoples. I think it was all the propaganda that has been beaten into most of our heads since we were relatively young. We always heard "pot kills brain cells" "pot makes you fat and lazy" "pot gives you cancer 10 times faster than cigs"Does anyone know why the general public and alike think that all smokers are totally stupid?

I think if you never try it out for yourself you pretty much have to believe all the hype against it.
Maybe some of those people had a family member who was a part of the drug craze and it fucked up their lives so the sibling now sees all intoxicants as completely harmful to success

I actually mail Above The Influence every now and then telling them how good a job they are doing- because when you look at everything except the weed it's actually a great site.
If weed wasn't on it (and possibly mushrooms, some people love those) I would make donations.
I also thank them for making the "dealer dudes" always look really chill and having no acne. In reality I look like a total nerd with horrible genetic acne and knappy ass hair. In their ads, they always have a nice clean hoodie, nice straight hair, a clam demeanor and no acne! High five guys! Thanks for making me look good!

Yes. I (or anyone else) am going to sell some black elementary school kid pot int he middle of the day on a basketball court. AWESOME!

Oh yes, definitely. They are paid to rag on weed of course!
I especially love the one where they blame weed for bad things in general.
I've been victim to all of those things, before I started smoking. Afterward, well- thing have been pretty relaxed. I mean, thing aren't good- no. On the 12th this month I turned down an opportunity to steal almost 1400$ from a bank due to error, because I am a good person.
The very next day the transmission on my car died, leaving me broke and without a vehicle. Then my computer's hard drive failed. I missed my valentine's date because of all this mayhem. Also, the day after that wal-mart lost my prescription; so I don't have the meds I need and my face has broken out into a horrible acne riddled field of puss.
But you know, none of that was caused by weed. And weed doesn't make me a bad person- that's pretty apparent to the girl behind the counter at that bank, who now knows someone she thought was horrible for being a "stoner" obviously can't be too bad.
So really i'm just happy to keep doing what works. I mean, there's people everywhere waiting to drive you into the ground. In the case of weed I think being the better man comes down to being honest with yourself. Only the individual can decide if pot is good or bad. If media preaching changes your opinion on something like pot, then you're obviously living below an influence. Not me.
