Hindu Kush & White Ice Grows

i thought it was a sativa and had a longer flower time. usualy they give another swell about 2 weeks before harvest time. i also leave mine in the soil in the dark for up to 72 hours it helps increase resin and finishes the plant because they think it`s end of the season so they do a change in growth habits. i did it with this harvest i just did and works fine for me.
they look goo it just seems like they may still swell a bit, but you know them big ass girls better than i do. watch the calyxes and hairs if they are still shooting new calyxes and the hairs haven`t poped out yet they could still go.

Thanks bonz. I agree there is still more room for them to grow bigger buds. But regarding watching the new calyx's I noticed during my last grow that new calyx's keep on coming out regardless, they don't stop. Am I right?

Will try the 72 hour thing. Remember they need 6 days for flowering, but thats the MINIMUM flowering period. The flowering period for these strains are 45-55 days right now only the biggest one looks like it will be ready in 6 days the rest will still need more time.

not sure on the calyx thing. just watch the trich`s to turn amber. good luck.
dont know if you sa my final harvest but i ended up getting 7 ounces dry from 8 2 foot plants. my next one i am going to do a cross of black ind and purple wreck

and yea i heard leaving the plants in the dark before choppin them helps so that has some backup

Well boys it's all over! The plants have been chopped down, dried, cured, and bagged. Here is what I got in total (dry weight):

Hindu Kush 5 plants 400 grams=14.1 ounces
White Ice 5 plants: 300 grams=10.6 ounces

Here are the pics too. Basically I categorized my weed in this way:

Hindu Kush Milky (Milky triches)
Hindu Kush 20 (20% amber triches)
Hindu kush 40 (40-50% amber triches)

White Ice Milky
White Ice 20
White Ice 40

That way I know when to smoke what. Say I want to watch a movie or 2 Ill go for the couch-locking Hindu Kush 40. If I was going out to dinner or a movie Ill smoke the Milky Ice. Those are the two extremes so everything else is in between.

What do you guys think of the yield?

The very same day I chopped these down I started a new grow. 6 TrainWrecks and 6 Green Spirits. I also lined the walled with mirrors so now the light intensity in the room is amazing!

I have white ice now getting close to the end of week 4 in a dual 600 hortilux vert set up..... It seems really week right now compared to a lot of the other strains.... Truth is I loved the way it looked in the picture on white labels site.... But out of the six strains I have going right now I have to say it is dissappointing me second most out of all of them.... Blue Mystic is in the lead of most dissappointing at this point.... Flowers are biggest on BM but not Frost at all and very airy.... White Ice is just week looking so far.... Do you remember how your ice looked around day 26.... I know you have pictures, I read your thread last night, but it's hard to tell from pictures for me.... Perspective is hard to achieve without a balance....

Hey Kimbo, when did you end up finally cuting the white Ice, do you remember the exact date..... I am around day 37 of 12/12 and they are finally starting to fill out a bit.... I tell you what, it's nothing like the Ice I got from Nirvana though, but it is starting to get some nice looking little buds
