lookin good man, you dont need a drip system, the mist from the bubbles popping is how the plants get fed, thats what DWC is all about
Thats what I thought, but it just seemed too simple.. :wall:

Guess all I have to do is wait for them to grow now ;-)

Fa sho, I was going to use the AG again, but i found that bin and there was no way i was gonna let it just sit there haha, the AG is great learning tool, tho i didnt pay for mine, but its a good investment for beginners. I gave mine to a friend, and i actually miss it

Yea man I built my setup right now for like $35(40 gallon pump was $20) plus lights I had for my AG anyways..

Still going to use it as a cloner though so it wasn't entirely a waste.

And like sicc said, it was definitely a good learning tool.

Yo man I just looked at the pic of your AG hood again.. What kind of string is it hanging from? are those some red and black shoe laces? lol

I'm only asking because I'm using some tan colored ones from some of my nikes for my fixture, haha.

the only downside to shoelaces is that they stretch out a bit over time, its a snap to tie it up when I want to raise my lights, I just tie it like I tie my shoes! haha

That's funny you mention this about the AG. I have really only ever used mine to grow basil and herbs (crazy right?) and today I decided to throw some seeds into some seed pods and see if I can get anything going.

They are bagseeds anyway, I must want to see if I can get them big enough to clone and once I do I'll flower a few clones (checking sex) and keep the remaining female clones as mothers.

If it's rather successful I may do this again on some of my real strains. I have tons of bagseeds to perfect the method and try to get a germination system in place that works really well in that AG because it's just so small and easy to use.

take a look here, just a basic guide I give out for the beginners in the AG sub forum, with the help of the homie Lurk, I've basically gone DWC, but i owe it all to that lil machine haha, it was a dream come tru

the AG just needs a couple mods, and your set to go
Thanks for the link. I might add a couple of those things, but for right now I'm just trying to see if it will germinate and sprout some seeds. I didn't use the paper towel method, I wanted to see if it will just do it on it's own.

I am hoping that I can get a couple of plants large enough to take clones off of and that's about all I want it for. I'm hoping I won't need an airstone or additional bubbler or anything like that. Otherwise I would've done like you and just setup my own shit. I want to see how well it works on it's own. It's just bagseed so if it kills them I'll go back to using it for basil.

Kind of a little early planning for a summer project to avoid flowering in the middle of the heat.

If I started a batch right now that's where I'd be.

You can germ seeds in the AG, that's my preferred method.

You can probably get them big enough to take a few clones with no mods.

my last grow had no air stone, that is what i was thinking you would say is iffy, the plants can survive without it, but its all just benificial:peace:

Yeah that was exactly my concern. Buying an external pump and an airstone, just doesn't make it easy. I actually have my AG on my kitchen counter right now. I haven't decided how long it will stay there, but I suspect it'll be a long time. I love the look of MJ plants and they look nice in the kitchen...haha
