First time growing with cfls

no worries the flower room still has more light then the veg room but i will be picking up more 23w.. I like the 23w that put out 1600lum compared to the 42-48 because they are a little more efficient.

Also i already stripped the plant down and am starting the reveg!! Wish me luck!

definatly dude keep use posted ive never witnessed a a re-veg and am very interested in seeing the results. i allways assumed re-veg would kill the buds allready exciting an ultimatly stress the plant to death but like i said ive never tried or witnessed 1 so wat do i know lol much luck

theres a thread on here by a guy named fishindogg and he revegged 3 into some beauties! I would have been alot less likely to do it if i hadnt seen it

oh hell yeah man! Except for the vermin outdoor growing is awsome!! Thats all i did till this grow! I have the fence in my yard down so i havent been able to plant out there.:sad: its a good 3/4 finished so il get a crop in still :-P

Nothing makes plants grow like the son!! You wont beleive the difference in speed of growth from mother nature:) 2" per day is standard growth in good direct sun! SQUIRT A RING OF DISH SOAP ON THE GROUND AROUND ALL THE PLANTS OUTDOOR.. RE-SQUIRT AFTER RAIN AND THIS REALLY HELPS KEEP BUGS AND CRITTERS AWAY!

I read what you said about the sun on the plants and I have a question, If I may? I'm able to place my ladies on the sun during the day, Should I? How long per day is good? The sun here is very hot from 11.00 to 16.00. Help me out cause if this really works and won't hurt their growth pace, I'll certainly do it. Cheers!

You can stick them in the sun when ever its possible! As long as they still get their dark time un-interuptud they will love it!! I put mine in the sun from time to time but its hard for me to do:) just stick with your light schedual any time the lights are on put those babies in the sun!! I had all my cfl girls in the sun a few weeks ago they all leaned toward the sun in 15 mins! If you get them in direct sun they will jump!!

hey man grow is looking very well so far i have a few suggestions.if u have the money pick up a 70watt hps security light from the hardware store.i have a similar setup to yours and on my second grow i added the hps wow wat a difference in bud denseness(if thats a word lol)but realy it makes a nice difference for about 25$ so if u got it it wont hurt and the temp will not be affected at all(well like a degree maybe)also if u havent done so take those t8 lights and makem t5s but sounds and looks good i will be checking in on your grow good luck man

ive found hps light are hard to find at my local hardware stores. all they have are f'in halogen. i havent checked lowes or the depot though.

Lowes and depot have them but your looking at 75+ might as well order a 400watter complete for 150...htgsupply.com i think!

Yeah ive shopped around for those in my local stores and the cheapest i can find is 60 bucks and i dont wanna pay that for just 70w...I think im gonna end up getting 2 250s or a 400w hps.:hump: Thanks for the input man!!

So far so ugly for the plant im working on revegging. I chopped off almost all the bud (got me a good 8th). I cant tell if it is making any progress but it doesn't seem to be getting worse, it just looks so sad with no buds!!! Illl get some pics of that up by tomorrow as well as a few new garden pics:lol:! But for right now time to smoke and go build houses...fun.:sad:

well the my digi is back in cali so no pics for a while.. I wish i had it right not tho because things are moving right aong. The plant i am revegging is showing signs of resssponse!!!! About 70% of the little bud peices are starting to kinda spread out and they have that famiiar "Veg Green" color to them. On a couple you can even see a small leaf poking out! The other 30% of the little buds seemed to have died and dried out.

ALSO,

One of the ladies was looking ready so i gave her the chop. I had not seeen any size change in the buds or an increase in frosting for a good week. Also the big fan leaves had died qand the little ones were looking bad too... I quick dried the bottom 2 popcorn nugs and it def gets you baked. The taste was very harsh due to the drying method. The high isnt as complete as i had hoped which either means i just need to wait for longer on the next ladies or maybee the cure will help. The buds dont reallyu look like i had hoped either?? Really leafy, dense but real leafy... i need a scope soon!!!!!

Which brings me to todays bracket... I have $20.00 and im using 9 cfl over 28 plants....soooo Cheap Scope Vs. 8 more bulbs
