I honestly wish that I could ready every question that was asked here so I dont ask a question that's already been posed, but even when I blaze I don't have that much patience sooooo........

I've heard conflicting info on the topic of self polinated plants.(hermies). and of what quality of seed a hermie produces. Some people seem to belive that they produce seeds which have higher male to female ratios.
some people think it's female to male.
And some believe they just produce seeds which will end up as hermies later.

I guess my question would be... how good (generally) are the quality of seeds produced by hermies? and if they are even viable candidates for growing, is the male to female ratio the same? higher? or lower?

wow...that was like 3 questions in a question...kinda. sorry i'm fukn caked.:dunce:

peace and good livinbongsmilie

Do you think it would be more cost friendly or more productive to have 2- 400 watt hps lamps flowering 12-15 plants, and when the 12 hour period is up, move those plants into a sleeping section in my room, and then at this time, have another tray of of 12-15 plants that had just been sleeping and bring this group of ladies out into the lamp area so that the 2 lamps would be going for 24 hours......................or
have like 2-600 watt hps lamps for around 25 plants at one time and only have these lamps going 12 hours a day? I know this was a confusing post im sorry

this moving this many plants sounds pretty labor intentsive unless you are putting them in some sort of bin that can be wheeled around while still allowing drainage.

If I can help anyone thats unsure about problems..

I will try my best to give you a simple solution to your problems
I might have bugs but cant see them on a dwc unit im running. The temp gets down to 63 ish degrees at night. Is that enough to kill them off? And i also have a plant in soil with leaves that are yellowing and browning in between the veins of the leaves; what might that be also?

yea i plan on having a large tray with wheels, 2 of them for each group of ladies.
this sounds like it could work, just make sure you have a dark room to keep the alternate set of plants

make a bubble cloner. took me like 5 mimnutes to make and had 100% clone success in 7-8days roots everywehre and ready for transplant.

theres also no need for domes or misting using this method

you should start giving them a solid grow formula for their veg stage this will help build the foundation for the plant to sustain a solid yield. and as far as when to flower, i flower mine at about 12-14" and they finish arond 3'-3.5'

what amkes you think that you have bugs on your plants? that temperature deffinately will not kill them off

As for your plant in soil, it could be a wide variety of ph being unbalanced, nitrogen difficiency, or a wide range of nutrient defeciencies, salt buildups and nutrient lockout are all factors. you would have to be more specidic about your setup before i could provide you with mre information.

There is parts of my leaves missing( chunks out of the side, and holes). As for the big one the ph is 7-7.5 and im giving it about 750 ppm of dutchmaster gold a&b and calamag every other watering and i water every 2-3 days.

i would do a solid flush. get your soil ph down to around 6.5-6.8 again. then give a good heavy once a week feeding. I find most people find problems when they are using light feedings. it allows all those ferts to get locked up and built up and stop you roots from oxygen and the nutes it needs. Water a heavy feed once a week and then water with a balanced ph after that for the rest of the week. sometimes i fert every 5-7 days. the plants will let you know when they are light and will show signs if overdone. get to know your plants! :)

try this and let me know.

as for the holes check the underside of your leaves carefully... and look on the lower branches. tell me if you see things that resmeble stringy webbing or black dots.

are these indoors or out im assuming in?

They're indoors. As for the solid flush, how would i go about doing this? And how heavy of a feeding?

Also i was thinking it was spider mites but i didnt find any of these signs. I removed the infected leaves hoping it was just a small bunch but is there any home made remover spray that you know of?

hey ill take that offer on the help aswell, its my first season growin and im trying to keep it pretty stealthy but I found a nice spot in my room to start my plants (i plan to move them outdoors when it warms up in ontario haha) thats under a high ass bed, its about 40 inches high by 3 feet wide by about 6 feet long/ kinda like a tunnel lol. but anyways i had 4 seeds i germinated in a paper towel on a heater and 3 cracked open in a few days but the sprouts or taproots wouldnt come out of the shell much father but i could see the white part so i planted them all in seperate pots, 1 in rockwool. and the other 3 in a soil from my moms garden thats pretty good quality, i kept a 24 hour light schedule with a 100 watt bulb over the pot and 2 cfl twisty bulbs or w.e. and something green sprouted out of the one under the 100watt on the 3 day but it almost only just looks like grass thats what im worrying about, i cant tell or find any pictures of a seedling that looks like mine. Now its been 5 days so I guess my question right now is at the first stage have you seen a sprout with one long blade coming out and will it seperate into leaves or am i just taking care of a blade of grass? and out of the other pots nothing so im thinking i maybe overwatered or got seedrot or something because i am a noob this is my first time trying to grow anything. Im sure i could find alot more questions that i would like to ask any experienced grower that was willing to help so if you get back to me on this it would be greatly appeciated. Cause at the end of this summer i would like some buds :)
