Thai Haze X Skunk1 Special grow

Hello guys and gals, have had a few strains on the go and was gonna set up a grow journal but have been busy with stuff and already have had 2 harvest and am left with the Thai Haze X skunk1 Special so will start from here.

Did have 10 Chronics from serious seeds - only got 2 fems out of a 10 pk

10 Auto AKs from dope-seeds, have to say what a waste of time.

Then i got 10 Thai Haze X skunk1 special and these are the ones i wasnt sure off but from what i can see now i think they are the best seeds i got this year, and might be the best crop of the year.

Have a look at the pics below, first two are of the Chronic that i cropped 3 weeks ago and the rest are of the Thai Haze X skunk1 Special.

Heres the Thai Haze X Skunk1 Special - Has been Vegged for 4 weeks, now are in their 4th week of Flowering.

Gonna let them go for another 4 - 5 weeks then will chop them if i can get away with letting them go for longer then i will but at the moment they are over 6FT high so......... but have friends that have had sativas on 12/12 for over 14 weeks.

Yeah in my grow room only have Inch left, These Thai Hazes are the talest plants i have grown but last year my friend had a 11FT (Yes 11FT) tree in his back garden and that was a Haze strain.

Bud should be good though.

There are 10 of them all together in 20lt potts , coca soil, 2 X 450w HPS - Nutes: Canna Veg , Canna Flower , & canna boost. And the PH is at 5.8.

Did have 2 X 600w in there but as they got taller and the space got less i switch to 2 X 450w HPS as didnt was leafts or bud to burn.

Yeah maybe 6 weeks, but have just switched from canna flower to canna boost ( after a flush of course ) and buds are looking good so far i think for 4 weeks. If i can get away with another 6 or 7 weeks then i would love it.

But if they get any bigger then one might have to go

Well i have had friends who have had Hazey sativas on 12/12 for over 14 weeks. But i personaly think my girls will be finished in under 5 weeks.

Quite a lot of Haze strains takes a longer flowering period than most other Sativas.

Has anyone smoked this strain before?

The biggest of all the colas is one the size of 2 DVD cases lol

The hardest thing is trying to take pics as the flickering of the light buld comes out in the pic. But will update the pics ASAP

No. I dont affect the light cycle at all. Both lights are on timers and when lights are off i let the girls sleep, not one bit of light touches them when in dark.

But will get some new snaps up here ASAP.

Have been thinking about the harvest for the Thai Haze X skunk1 Special, was thinking about putting them in 24 - 48 hours darkness right before harvest. A few of my friends have done it and i have read a little about it but never gave it much thought until now.

Has anyone else done this and has it proven good to the end result.

Right have just taken two more pics of a close up bud and My grow room filled with lovely ladys. Would have taken more but my Camera just died on me, so will put up some more later in week.

Have just borrowd the Mrs camera while she is out, taken a few pics of the Buds.

Am flushing then out now then after will give more canna boost bring the PH to 5.8 and in about 4 - 5 more weeks its Harvest. THC is swelling up nicely now, should be able to get some close THC shots in a week or 2.

can see that the buds are developing nicely, never had a sativa like this just after 4 weeks of 12/12

Here is a few of the side branches & colas.

Can see that the side branches are shooting right up, hopefully all side branches produce nice side colas.

Every time i go into the room all i can smell is Thai-y Hazey Skunk and not to shoot my load to early but its hard looking and smelling them every day but no bang bang lol

Can wait until harvest gonna take my time cureing this. Definetly gonna do more haze / sativa grows.

OMG have to go away for 2-3 days so the girls will have to make do on their own for a bit.

Hopefully all should be ok, will give them all a good drink right before i go, then when i get back i will take some more pics.

Lookin real good! We are growing this same strain along with Hindu Kush and bag seed. The thai haze X skunk has totally grown far past the bag seed and the light! We never realized how tall the skunk haze (as my hubby calls it)would grow. I am thinking I should bend the tops so they dont burn? If I raise the light the bag seed will stretch. Wishing I had found your thread before I germed the seeds! We are 4 weeks in veg and they are about 4 feet already. I am subscribing.... I wanna see how yours turn out so I can compare. Also, please let us know how the girls do while your gone. We are going on vac in 2 weeks and hoping our girls will do well also!

Yeah you are right as you can see my girls are all over 6ft the tallest one is 7ft, you do need a lot of space to grow these girls. I have bennt a few of my top branches down as dont want main flowers to burn. Also these girls take well over 11 weeks to flower. Have you any pics of your? I am gonna let mine go for another 4-5 weeks. The smell is lovely tho. One tip tho is to get some Canna boost These plants Def need there nitro and potas. Will post some pics when i get back home.
