According to the poll, only 23% (oppose it fully) said abortion should be illegal in all circumstances, while 77% (support the practice in some capacity) said it should be legal in some capacity. If I claim to be an independent, yet I vote Democratic Party 77% of the time (which independents often vote overwhelmingly one party over the other), am I truly an independent? Again, people can label themselves what ever they'd like, it's their actual position on an issue that matters.

Bach, George Washington Carver, Nat King Cole, Dalai Lama...that gets us to the letter "D" Literally thousands of majorly impactful human beings have been adopted. Now granted your child was probably just going to grow up to be another you...but if you've fucked up a lot of choices in your life...who is to say you aren't fucking up yet another choice by killing the child that would one day bring world peace to us all.

i prefer death for nobody but who are we kidding lets not be naive. my stance on abortion is that in some cases i feel its the right thing in others its not. i just find it funny that bible thumpers are against abortion but are not against unjust wars where thousands of people as innocent as a fetus get killed wholesale. quite a contradiction lol.

i dont consider an early term fetus to be a human. i see the point your trying to make some fights will be fought humans are violent in nature but i would say 90% are money or religion based and could be avoided if the people in control were not such immoral individuals. then again if you need and crave power your weak spiritually and should not have it hence the conundrum of government's sorry a bit off subject. a girl who is raped and impregnated by her uncle or dad should not have that baby for many reasons in such circumstances and a few others i am for abortion as an option.

twisty makes some valid points its true the most ardent supporters of prolife stances dont have any interest in what happens once the childs born just that it is born. they seem to have no regard for the problems the child and its mother will face in most cases.
