I started this thread to answer some questions and dispell myths about pain killers and heroin.
First off, I have been using opiates (oxy, morphine, Fentanyl, Dilaudid, Opana, ect) and heroin for 11 years. I don't claim to know everything but I do know a little.
The first myth I want to dispell is that the poppies that grow in America are opium-free. This is a lie. Some poppies contain more than others, but they all have some opium. The seeds in spice jars seem to be the best. Go to your grandmothers house and slice her poppies, they will produce very potent, very smokable opium.
Secondly, heroin/opiates aren't toxic in responsible doses. Infact, opiates are no more toxic than marijuana. Humans have ingested opiates for tens of thousands of years. They have very little to no impact on the liver, kidneys, or brain. It didn't start killing people and ruining lives until prohibition was enacted. This drives the price up and ensures the product is unregulated. Before prohibition, heroin/morphine could be purchased at any pharmacy at a resonable price, ensuring the users safety and allowing them to live a decent life. Now-a-days the price has skyrocketed, forcing users to focus thier energy on doing nothing but getting money and getting high. This yo-yo effect of constantly going from being high to withdrawling not only is very stressfull for the addict, but promotes overdosing.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I also want anyone with experience with opiates to join in. Knowledge is Power. For more info on growing opium poppies, read Opium for the Masses.
