Wish I could get better closeups of the flowers, my camera is only a 5.0 megapixel but still, its not a piece of shit. Anyone have suggestions?

Yea. Does it have a macro mode? Or digital zoom? If so, sturdy your hand against something to avoid shake.

Plants look OK. Do not cull any males until you are POSITIVE they are boys. Fems can look male up until the pistols (white Hairs) appear from new growth nodes. These nodes can look like male flowers to the untrained eye.

Thanks!! Cause of that comment I choose to keep 2 of suspect balls.

Killed 3 that were absolutely without a doubt males. Remaining are 6, (4 for sure females), the other 2 look like females, but pistils aren't as apparent as the other 4. No balls like the 4 I've murdered.
My camerea sucks but this was the best I could do, trust me theres balls...

another sorry shot

Preping execution

After execution....

My attempt as super cropping.....

and

way off??

would i cut that top off??

could practice, get a feel in my fingers..heres whats remaining.........

Left with 6, only keeping 3, keeping it legal I guess.... I'll pick and choose in the coming days :eyesmoke:

One of my indicas is really spaced out. Its the one I topped, the tops look like anymore weight and they'll fall over, not that theres a lot now but when flowered I fear it'll fall over, should I get stakes, and twine them with hemp to the stake allowing them more strength? God damnit, I realized my one and only hash plant turned out to be a male, fuck that hurts, he was a good looking lad, guess thats part of the game....

Is this ok.. Alright so I have 3 indicas and 3 sativas, 2 of my sativas are skyrocketing, so I topped them, I'm 1 week into flowering, will this stress them?? I had no choice, if I hadn't they would be twice as tall as the rest, and the indicas are my money plants (white widow max), and don't want to fuck em up, so sativas will have to suffer, hopefully I get 2 colas, and slows down the height of the growth, I don't mind if it slows down flowering by a week or 2, I expected that. Advice???

I don't see any signs of sex on those but as you said the pics are less than great

I would not have topped at this point. Supercropping the tall sprout would have been a better option. It looks like your supercropping technique is good. It should be done to the main stems not the leaves.

Got any FI left? Any word on more cuts?

Definitly a bad camera. I've reviewed hundreds of pictures and I had my grow bible, I was 100% I saw sacs on the 3 I killed.
Yes I do have a FI remaining, I'll take a couple clippings and I'll let you know when rooted :)
How bout that whiteberry??? :)
Oh and I actually used the FIM technique, I don't know if this is better or worse, than topping, but heres some of the pics....
FIMED Sativa

Other FIMED Sativa, I probally shouldn't of, but ...

How's it going, 303? Pretty good here. I just switched my latest run to 12/12 again.
14 days into flower. I have these 3. They're looking great, I think I need another light. The one 400 watt I don't think is doing justice. I am thinking about putting a 250hps, or getting the same 400 watt that I already have and have them side by side. Although I don't know how I'll cool it, for its perfect temps right now. Do you know at what point my breaker will go off? If I were to add another 400watter. Plus all my fans. Is it better to distribute the electricity among different outlets? I'd like to put another 400 watts to my timer. I have the inline fan on a different outlet running 24/0. ;-)
Pics.....
WW Max "Angelina" - stinky girl

WW Max "Medusa" Not flourishing as much as her sister, but shes still pretty

FI - Brittney

There's the 3 girls. They're huge. They're overgrowing my tent. There's no way I could of fit more unless I did the SOG method. Plus, this way I stay legal.;-)

For starters:

Good job on your first grow. I am glad that you got some experience and it looks like your plants did fantastic.

I just purchased the same tent and have grown in spaces very similar in dimensions.

Your best option is to build a little veg box or buy another tent for veg. Fill it with floro's (to keep heat down) and veg in it.

Use this box to flower, but flower smaller plants. Those are too big for a 400w light. The light's not going to penetrate very far. It's not that you need a bigger light, you need to be a wee bit more efficient next time.

If you have a very small legal plant limit and can't do a veg box/flower box with many smaller plants, I would do a SCROG. You need to find a way to keep your canopy even and get the light evenly distributed. You would double your yeild if it was done a bit more efficiently.

BUT, having said that, I would like to reiterate that you are doing great for you first grow and this was definitely the way to do the first one.

I like the way that you mounted that carbon filter up there. My carbon filter is a Can-66 filter with a 6" fan and I'm not sure those tents will hold it up. I'm just a bit nervous about doing it that way. It doesn't feel like it's a problem at all?

You want a full canopy in the tent so it look good. That 400 will not penetrate very far but that is OK. just trim off the bottom 1/3 of growth so focus all energy on top buds that are getting light.

No, don't buy another 400. Just finish these out and do it better next time. You would be better served with a new 600w light than a 400w. That tent is too big for a 400w.

Two 400w's is going to kill you on heat and you won't be saving much money.
Keep the 400, use it to veg next time if you can and use the 600w for flower.

Make sure to get an air cooled hood this time.

Will do, thanks!! I was planning on using the current tent for flower, throwing a 600 watt cool tube, similar to doogleaf's. Then a smaller tent, use this for a mother. Or should I have 3 in veg at all time? I'm allowed 6 plants, only 3 mature though.

Now that I look at that second photo, shit looks like somethings eating my plant? Or I did something?? Fuck, lights on in a few, will keep posted..

Nice,

I'm diggin' coming by this thread to check on it. Mine are just little seedlings right now. I'm allowed 12 immature OR 6 mature so I got my girlfriend here with me (also a patient) and now she has 12 immature and I have 6 mature all of the time. Well sometimes less than 12 immature, but doubling our #'s by living together.

I don't know how the rules are in your state and if can have both immature and mature plants or you can have one or the other.

I'm going to run a 600w air cooled light and dump my 400's. I am vegging in a 3x8 closet and I'm flowering in a 4x4 tent. I'm figuring with this setup I shoudl be able to get 7-8 oz's every 8 weeks.

More than enough for my needs and an efficient use of power. I use t5's for veg ~400w worth. 600w flower tent so for 1000w of light total I can get consistent yeilds and take care of my habit.
