They Told Me It Was ATF.

did i miss something? i just want to know what the fuck this is.

Do you mean you want to know if you have ATF? Copying my answer.

Okay did some digging. Sometimes the inner part of the leaf seems to big making the leaf seem bubbly (probably a tech term for it but I don't know what it is). Romulan tends to do this also.

The problem I have with my ATF is that my girls need extra support because they snap due to the weight and size of the plant. It should remind you of C99 in smell and apperance.

i'm confused. did some digging? i thought you knew all about it. bubbly leaves? what? wtf does cindy99 smell and look like? my whole garden is snapping and breaking. i've been hammering 8 foot pieces of copper pipe into the ground to support everything. it smells like stinky ass pot. :lol:bongsmilie

By did some digging I got out all the info I have gathered over the years on ATF. I wanted to give you 100% accurate info.

There is a strain guide in FAQ (you should know that) look up Cindy 99 there.

My plants don't smell stinky perhaps you don't have the real deal.

You can't tell if the strain is ATF by that alone MTF and other strains also have this in common with ATF (the hairs not turning).

I think that this is correct. Check the strainbase under Peak 19 and Mantanuska. There should be info on ATF there. ATF is a forebearer to Mantanuska, which is a borebearer to Peak 19, which was bred to incorporate characteristics of ATF.

Yeah, can't say I remember ever coming across ATF... The plant genetics look like it's definitely from Alaska though, they always have something about em' with the colas and leaves that just makes me feel at home.

If I had too put money on it, I would say it's definitely an Alaskan strain of some sorts. Clarifying it as ATF will prolly be easier for others with your smoke report, and better quality pics.

Good luck man, hope ya got/get lucky.

got an email from a guy in Alaska......

I believe the strain you are refering to is more commonly known as MTF, also called ATF. According to many of the old school growers here that strain no longer exists in it's original form as it has been cross bred many many times since it became famous long ago. There are always rumors of people who have kept mother plants pure for this long, but most up here believe them to be urban myths. That being said, looks like a beautiful crop you have there regardless of the exact lineage. Something to be proud of. Must be nice to be able to grow outside.

it's all bullshit. it's lost forever.

I was speaking to kp about mtf or atf or matanuska tundra or whatever and said I could get some matanuska tundra seeds which is a derivative of atf. She said to me that her beens came from someone in alaska that new the strain well and she traded for it.

Its true its true its all true its still out there, kp has it.:bigjoint:
