1.) It's cheaper (because of artificial tariffs placed on sugar)
2.) The corn lobby is one powerful motha


Once you get past our borders, you get past the tariffs on sugar and the very same companies (pepsi,coke) will use it because it is not expensive at all.

Basically, the US citizen is being screwed.

Nothing...and it's the same with tobacco. The best cig I ever smoked was from China. The best flavor ever and only 10mg of tar. Marlboro has about 25mg. I used to get them sent to me air mail through Britain but the Tobacco consortium slammed the door shut on me. They don't want the US citizens knowing they are not getting the best products on the market.............

That is crazy. I don't smoke cigarettes anymore, but that still effects me as I live in these borders. I've never left the united states, and don't know anything about foreign sodas or tobacco :/

but I like bacardi gold, right now :peace:
 
Well on the flip side if you want a soda made with SUGAR instead of syrup, check out Jones soda from Canada. I swear by their cola..... it blows syrup cola (P&C)sodas away.

well, I try not to drink sodas at all, but I might actually look in to those canadian jones. I've only had one once, and it was very, very syrupy. Good, but thick. I imagine one with sugar would be a nice delight :joint:

I figured it was all hype. 70% is a good buzz but I can get that with some bacardi 151.

When I was younger I remember me and my friends looked in to a home-made drink called "Green Dragon" made with alcohol and weed. Anyone ever successfully mixed the two?

Absenthe is not all hype, unfortunately the absenthe available in north america doesn't contain the wormwood extract Thujone, which is the compound that causes hallucinations and makes it special.

green dragon is pretty much impossible to fail at.
marijuana + high proof alcohol= green dragon.

Let it sit for a month and you're dancing.
