We actually got the money back the day I made the above post. Was surprised. Expecting to get a bill for a hidden fee of the exact amount any day now. haha.
Day 22 - July 31 - 11:30pm
So I got back from Miami today. On my way into town it was obvious it had been storming earlier today or within the past couple days. I got home to see that he power had surely gone out while I was away. Called and talked with my mom who said the power went out today and it may have went out on Wed. So my plants could have been without light for 2 days or for 12 hours. I dont know, but they appear to be doing so-so. I think the lights were out for 2 days. I got the lights on as soon as I got home, about 8pm. I plan to turn them off about 3am and have them come back on about 8am and continue the light schedule from normal. Hopefully everything will be alright. =/
Also purchased a 400w light set while I was in Miami. Got a pretty decent cool tube (Sunstar AC). Just tried to hook it up. After taking everything out of boxes I realized she gave me 400w Halide ballast. Now im wayyyyyyy back home and not sure what I cand o about this. :**( . Very stressed and sad atm.
Here are pictures anyway. First few are of my new plant (Lefty) who is doing ok I guess. For some reason the leafs only have 3 blades instead of 5.
Righty is on track. Looks like she could damn sure use the 400w HPS but she not getting it.

Hey man,
My first grow was a 1 quart DWC that needed to be changed every other day. It was a pc grow bow...really long story, if you're interested it's in here somewhere.
My second SW grow got seeded from a hermie...and the light was way too far away...live and learn..the simplist things
This is my third, and probably last, SW grow. These girls are clones of clones...it's all really easy...you'll get it...you're plants look great!!!

Day 25(Righty) Day 17(Lefty) - Aug 3 - 11pm
Nothing new. Ballast gets shipped back tomorrow, think its set for 2day air, so will hopefully have the correct one Saturday. Im sure once I get the new lights hooked up, the plants will hit a spurt.
For the most part they are decently healthy. Righty seems to have recovered from most of the nute burn, and I even started its Grow Big feeding yesterday(the 'fake' leaves had turned yellow and fell off, so think it was time).
Lefty is getting there. A bit slower than Righty was, but I dont think losing power for 12hrs-2.5 days helped it much. Damn Miami!

Honestly have no idea. Planned on asking people what they think once I get my new ballast in to hook up 400w HPS.
Ive tried to read and see whats best, but saw so many different opinions. Im still a uber newb. Everything Ive got to do in the future is still all new to me.

When your plants gets alternating limbs, that is a sign of maturity. But that is when I give it another 2-3 weeks. Thats when she really starts to fill out in veg and showing more potential for a much higher yeild.

Ballast will really send them growing. Don't get it too close, start at 24" and then bring it down every few hrs to the right spot.

Day 31 (Righty) Day (Lefty) - Aug 9 - 10pm
Things appear to be going good for both plants. They are a bit lopsided and such, but I am using CFLs. Ballast should be in tomorrow, or so says tracking. The ladies (or so I hope ladies, if I havnt stressed them too much) will enjoy that.
I noticed that Righty seems to be showing signs of maturity. I posted some pictures, its the 7th and 8th picture. Im pretty sure thats the signs of a female. Not sure what a hermie looks like really, but I hope that isnt it. They have had some stress as it is basically my first grow.
Also posted 2 pictures of a bagseed plant I am growing. Started it about 3 weeks before Lefty and Righty, but it had horrible conditions as I had NO idea what I was doing when I first started. I only kept it to see if it would become a female or not. I think it may have balls or getting balls. The last 2 pictures are what I think are balls but I really have no idea. They just appeared (I check on the plants daily).

So finally got my ballast today and got it all hooked up. A buttload more light than all the CFLs I had going. Its about 16inches off the plants right now, which is where I think I read it should be. Also changed where my intake a/c air comes in from. Instead of having that long duct run all one from top down to the bottom, I just cut a hole near the bottom of the tent, fit it with a flange and have it coming in from there. Also put a oscilliating fan in the corner, once light gets raised a few inches I can put fan in the middle.
Lights hook up is a 400w HPS (with convertable ballast). Only have the HPS bulb right now, not sure if I should be using a MH at this point or what. Hooked echaust fan to the side of cooling reflector, sucking the air from around the bulb.
Anyways.
Righty looks great, showing her rocking female bod already. Left looks about the same as Righty did on Rightys 25th day. No signs of sex yet from her. Should be female, but as you've all seen if youve read my journal, ive made some mistakes.
