i was told by a little birdie you can use baking soda and lemon juice fo up or down,im not sure for which??????????any help please
Lemon juice down and Baking Soda up, hope that helps.
O.K> so lemon juice raises ph,baking soda lowers ph....correct?????thanks for the help, really appreciate itI agree Mazpot , but on a side note, one half a squeezed lemon per gallon of water to raise Ph, to help with that mental measurment of liquid. Half Table spoon of Baking Soda per gallon to lower Ph.

Baking soda raises PH. If you added a half table spoon to a gallon your ph would be off the chart. Or your tap water is acid. I use just a pinch for a gallon and with ferts added.I agree Mazpot , but on a side note, one half a squeezed lemon per gallon of water to raise Ph, to help with that mental measurment of liquid. He is either mistaking or just plain wrong. Either way this post is incorrect.

Wanted to add a picture to help out maybe.
Baking soda is not a good product to use so your better off getting some pH down from the shop.
go to lowes and get a rain barrel and put it under a downspout , problem solved
