Hi guys. Ive never done a grow journal before so bear with me here. Ive got a grow going now which is diesel ryder. i pollinated one of my three females so i would have a little more seed supply after theyre done. i also have 5 lowboldt (yumboldt autoflower) 3 lowryder 2, and 1 easy ryder seeds, all feminized, germinated and planted already, just waiting to sprout.
Using a 400 watt hps from htgsupply.com. growing in 2.5 gallon square pots.
started seeds in paper towels wetted and then put them in sandwich bags on top of my tv box to keep them warm. then i used fox farm ocean forest as a growing medium an i started them in 16 oz red party cups with the bottoms cut out and then placed in 18 oz party cups so i could pull the 16 oz cup out of the bigger cup to see when the roots were outgrowing the cups. with the diesel ryder, before they showed sex i put them into the 2.5 gallon pots by just placing the red 16oz cups right on top of the soil and adding soil around the cup to hold it into place. I was using miracle grow all purpose plant food for a little and then switched to alaska mor-bloom which i think is organic. its 0-10-10. the diesel ryders have a month left minus a day. im going to use the mor-bloom plus blackstrap molasses for another 2 weeks or so then just the molasses on every feed to flush the nutes. i included 2 pics of the diesel ryder ladies. mary jane is the one who is pregnant. i used the best looking male and female to make seeds. i will be adding pics once a week once the lowboldt and lr2 and all those sprout. also i wil be ordering 5 fem ak47 seeds on friday and then 12 short term amnesia and 12 mini thunderf*ck seeds when theyre back in stock on dutchbreed.com. sorry for the bad quality of pics, i used my cell phone to snap em. u cant really see it in the pics, but theres a lot of buddage there.
first pic is mary jane, the biggest preggo female.
second pic is ellen. very short and bushy diesel ryder. i didnt pollinate her but she may have caught some pollen being in the same room.
pic three is just so you guys have an idea of my setup. a 400watt hps hanging in my closet with a box fan on the ground for air circulation and lowering heat.
pic 4 is the plants from the side. mary jane is about 9 inches tall. and ellen is about 5 inches. both of the plants have 29 days left and i hope they fatten up a lot during the last days of their lives.
