Laserbrn ~ (DP White Widow) + (Green Crack x Romulan) + (BB Blue Cheese)

I took pictures of the new girls. These are the reason I decided to harvest my plants. When I came home and saw my veg room I knew it was time to move things along. These plants will stay in veg until this weekend when I'll clean out the flowering tent and hopefully the hanging buds will go into jars. If not I'll clean it out for the most part and it might be a few extra days for the vegging plants.

These are clones taken from the same flowering plants that just finished, plus a couple of Thai Super Skunk (I know they have sucked for a lot of people indoors, please don't need the comments, they will likely never see the flowering tent anyway) that I have vegging away. I figure in about a 5-7 days they will be more than large enough to start filling the flowering tent and getting right underway.

I will continue this same journal as long as I keep growing these genetics. When I'm done with these White Widows I'll start a new one.

I hope it means that in a few weeks I'll be goin' up in smoke again. What was your last yeild with those 2 600's? I'm thinking about doing a similar setup for another MMJ patient who asked for some assistance with grow room setup.

I cut off all of the branching from the bottom 1/3 of the plant. It's pretty simple when you go to do it. Just cut up the bottom of the plants so you get good airflow under the bottom and eliminate those popcorn buds. I will definitely be doing this from now on. I was happy to do the side by side comparison for myself by doing it to half of them and having the opportunity to see the difference in the end. So few popcorn buds from the plants that I did this too and so many more from the others.

You will feel like you are going to decrease the yield by cutting off growth, but in the end it's easy to see that it's the way to go.

ya i heard its supposed to send all the thc and energy to the main cola but i havent seen any real illustrations on how to do it to the t

I know that it doesn't actually mean anything, but I weighed one of my big buds and after 48 hours of drying it weighs just over 81 grams. I'm thinking it'll probably end up somewhere around an oz dried. That's freakin' sick to me and I'm diggin' it.

I'm excited as one of my friends is going to put up a 5x5 tent with a 1000w light. We are both going to start flowering on Sunday night. I originally had 23 clones and I am going to flower 8, (s)he is going to flower 11 and I am keeping 4 as mothers. So it'll be interesting to see how it goes. I know he uses the same nutrient lines that I do so other than his space and light advantage it'll be pretty even. I mean, we all know he should STOMP me, but I'm interested in seeing how close I can get to matching his yeild in the same time frame.

I'm sure that we'll do a journal together or link to each others journals alot while he starts his. I'm working more and more into using RIU as the great resource that it is.

Hey Laser. My yield with the 2x600 in an 8x4 was about 1.75.

If I were to do 2x600w, I would stick with a room that is about 7x3.5 and just fill in the canopy fully.

Better yet, 9x3.5 would be ideal for 3x600w.

Up in smoke!
Cya!

It looks like that grow is going to be 1 x 1000w in a 5x5 space. Should still kick ass. I still can't believe you got 1.75 out of 2x600w on your FIRST grow. That was massive brotha.

Just read this from front to back.. incredible stuff laserbrn

Interested in growing BB's blue cheese next too.. looks like they don't like nutes so much like the WW. Any other pointers?

To be honest that would be my only piece of useful advise is start off slowly with the nutrients. One of these days I'll focus on this strain.

Simply unbelievable laser..
I just went through the whole journal again to see how you did it.. This is what you get for giving your plants the best in care and love ;)
Think I should try some hydro..

+rep!

Thanks Laser. I was actually looking at my flower journal tonight and was in awe.

My current run I hope to pull 2.5 under 3x600. Thats my minimum goal. For a goal I'd like to reach in the near future, I would hope to get 1 per light @ 3 under a total of 1800w.

If I can get 1 per light in the given area I have (8x4, the lights are packed in there) I would be totally content...well maybe :)

Take care Laser. Impressive work man.

It's been drying about 4 days. All but the largest buds are dried out and ready and are jarred. There were a few that loked like they could at least hang over night if not 24 more hours. I will jar them up tomorrow.

My current estimate based upon what I've already weighed and the expected remaining shrinkage is.....~13 oz's.

Not too bad for a slap together grow. My next one should be much more efficient as I'm thinking about doing a SCROG this time around. I've decided that I'm not going to end up flowering a few of the plants as they have a VERY sativa phenotype and are just too unruly. I think they are the Thai Super Skunk and I just don't want anything to do with them. So this weekend I'll be looking for a creative way to attach a screen and I'll put 6 girls into the tent and set them up to veg and fill the screen. Hopefully about 2 weeks to fill the screen up and we'll be back to flwoering.

"My current estimate based upon what I've already weighed and the expected remaining shrinkage is.....~13 oz's."

Not baggy at all, not bad art all ... good work man ... enjoy the smoke ....

It's been a freakin' busy ass weekend. I put together a new SCROG screen, cleaned ALL of my hydroton (what a PITA) and moved my girls over to flower. I have moved 6 of the strongest looking plants and spaced them out so that I can start filling up the screen.

The next part of this journal will likely be pretty boring while the screen fills up, but hopefully it'll get exciting again during flower. Couple of weeks and we'll be under way.
