Hey Y'all,
Just wanted to share my grow, no real journal but a couple pictures.
I'm going some GDP plants from clones using a T5 Fixture, the aerogarden hood and some CFL's.
I'm probably going to bud with a 150wHPS and the T5 with flowering bulbs, we will see though, time will tell. (And finances, unfortunantly.)

But here they are. About 2 weeks old.

Edit:BTW the flying tags have been replaced with squares of mylar taped to the aerogarden base.

Thanks for checking it out, also any advice or help would be appreciated.

hey nice plants! be careful with the 3 plant setup i had the same and two of them got some sort of black rot around the stem.. try to keep the roots from entangling and should be alright :)

I know 3 is a little much. When I started with 3 I wasn't planning on going this overboard. This is the first and only grow I'm going to do with the aerogarden, I'm really regretting not spending my money on one of the Stealth Hydro kits and I would have gotten way more for my money, but when I got this i had no intent of putting this much effort into things, but growing is addictive.
I'm very scared of root problems, but it's very hard to control the roots in the small basin. I'm considering transplanting it to a DWC kit but I'm scared of the transplanting process and I don't really have any funds left.

That being said I think I am happy so far.

transplanting with hydro is easier than soil just use the same nutes.
I'm just scared to untangle (Manhandle???) the roots to pull them through the aerogarden top hole, and then how do you set the roots in a DWC cup with the grow rocks? is there a specific way?

thanks anyone,
I wanted to ask again though, does anyone have any advice transplanting from the aerogarden into net pots and grow rocks?
My other option is to get a larger rubbermaid container and just cut the top and secure the aerogarden top on top of the rubbermaid container, does that sound feasible?

Hay gang just wanted to drop in and check out the aeroponics systems, I plan to build my own system but wanted to see what the most popular aeroponics system people here use, I found it's best to research it first and then make a choice of the most popular of systems to build, right now I am looking in to the tube misting system but know there are a multitude of these operating systems to work with, but if the best of the best here can help me out with your replies that would be a great help..

Thanks guy's!! I also do bubleponics and soil ebb and flow. Power to the grow.

Update:
Started 12/12 on the first, not much of an aerogarden grow, but I've got clones off of these starting up in the aerogarden prepping for the next round.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm real excited to finish this one up because that means I can start over again and do it better hah.

I have a question though, I'm using a 150w HPS plus some CFL's, plus the T5 arrays, which still have the cool vegging bulbs(only because I'm broke right now).
At first I thought the 150 would be enough for the space, but I'm really missing the penetration of a higher wattage HPS. Like I said, I'm broke and can't afford another lamp.
My friend has a 400w MH light that he used for vegging but isn't being used right now, would I be better off flowering with the Metal Halide lamp? I'm not sure, heat's always an issue but I think i'd be able to keep it under control.

The MH is 400w, but if it's not going to make enough of a difference I would rather not pay to run another 400w. Especially since I always hear the MH wont have the penetration I'm looking for, but I also hear that more light is always better.

Edit: The undergrowth on this thing is insane, the nodes are so tight and everything is so thick, I'm getting really excited about this thing, it started out as a whatever thing in an aerogarden and has evolved to this point in not too long.
