A lot of harsh replies. Violence is a last answer, BUT im not opposed. If you let somebody kick you today, they will come back to kick you again tomorrow. You gotta let this asshole know one way or another that he crossed the line. Since you can't report this theft to the cops, its up to you to take care of it. (not like the cops do shit anyway if you report stuff stolen to them.) I like the idea about farming out the asswhoopin so that you don't get problems with the family. But he has to know it came from you. I would first give him an opportunity to make it up to you, but thats just me. Let him know you know. Ask calmly for it back, tell him its his only chance to avoid problems. and if he says no, calmly walk away. THEN...... Fuck his shit up! have his ass whooped, slash his tires, break his windows, poor dew in the tank, or whatever it takes. Just dont get caught.
Personally, i have had this issue a few times, once with a friends brother, once with a roommates girlfriend. First time, i called it a loss, and bought a safe. Brought it in right in front of that bitch, and said "some fuckin cunt has been taking from my stash." She was livid, and she never stole from me again. she knew i knew, and nobody got beat up. Second time, with the friends brother, we left oregano and schwag on a plate, with a pack of papers, knowing as soon as we left he would smoke it. We came back, and some was missing! After that, my friend got an extra lock on his door, and his brother never stole again. Locks are a non violent solution for the future, but violence may be more fun...
