Crap, well I scorched my seedlings a bit with the T5's. I had them up close like 2 or 3 inches and that was a little too much. I backed the T5's off to about 14" and set up some side lights of cfl's. I don't think it killed them but didn't help anything. Damn, I'm not used to this inside growing under lights. I can't wait until Spring to start setting everything out in waves.

I see some DQ & JTR showing up.

I wasn't too productive today. bongsmilie I tried to do some samplin for Santabis but didn't get very far with the chemo cindy. The buds weren't real dense, but fresh and sticky with a strong citrusy smell almost like rotting fruit. Very heavy smoke; hash like and thick. Strong head rush right away and the couch lock creeps right up. I don't try to find the ceiling of a smoke. I just enjoy a fresh little pinch in a bowl, just enough to smoke up in one slow hit. With the CC that's all it took for me. A little pinch every hour or so to keep the taste fresh and the head high. Nice pain relief for me.

Glad ya like it. Post your results in my new journal so every one can follow at one location. You testers are making me want to spark one up before I finish my work which will mean nap time for me. I think one in particular is better for the daytime, up to you to find out which if any. Enjoy

Yeah, the T5 flo's do run hotter than normal. I keep them at least 8 inches above the plants, more if the weather is warm.

I'm on it GT. lol, Man I just can't seem to get away from the JTR. damn stoner, ha !

Speaking of JTR. One of my JTR seedlings came up with an extra sprout. Didn't you say some of his strains did that and that subcool said to just pinch out the inferior one?

It looks like all 10 (11) of them are about up.

The others seem to be recovering from the near scorching I gave them.

No. Just let them grow and you may have twins but if one gets to be too big for the other one then it will just die off. Did that thermometer say 15 degrees? Buuuurrrrrr.

I was thinking the little one has no brain. :wall: I'll let them go to see what happens. My little freaks JTTR , the twins. lol

Brrrrr, Yeah 16'C is what 62F or so. My old house has wooden floors and is up off the ground. Even blocking my vents and entryway it gets cold under there. I might try to elevate the plants and get some air flow (72'F) from the room around them.

So today is prolly gonna be alright. It has sure started off that way. I tried some of the HJ (Hijack) and just love it. It was pretty too, nice golden trichs and long red hairs. The trim was kinda long but with that coating of frost I woulda left it too. I couldn't put a smell to it at first. Almost like old canvas or walking into an old country farmstore. Very well cured. But then when I pulled apart a flower cluster and smelled it was the most wonderful fresh orange smell to me. Really nice there bro. I am so hoping this is the HJ the beans are from. So far just upity up and feelin fine. Green crack :leaf: ha

Better get this cleaned up...

Now to enjoy a little more HJ.

Thanks Feroce. they run hotter than I was expecting. I'll have to watch them around the little ones. Still gotta love that lower elec bill.

Here's a little peek at my Sleestack x Skunk freebies.

scorched of course...:fire: don't ever let anyone tell you the T5's won't burn.

They look to be wide bladed indicas, short and wide. I'm hoping they grow out of the light burn.

It's fun having little ones again. Sorry about that sunburn.

Hey there Potologist, welcome along. I appreciate all the help I can get. Trying to learn new things this year starting out under lights. I can't wait to see what that Violator Kush does outdoors in the wild. Overgrow man :leaf:

Good to hear. Funny I've just never burned any that young, except for setting them out before they were exposed to enough sun. My new T5 fixture will be here today so I'll be extra careful when I fire it up. Shit is addicting, ha. Not the smoking;the growing. The new ways to grow. I'm still looking forward to rooting my clones in the bubbles. And especially all the exotic strains. Hellyeah.

So a little look around the nursery today before watering as needed. The Violator Kush, Bubblelicious, Papaya, and Sleestack x Skunk in the big tub.

The Dairy Queen and Jack-The-Ripper in the small.

Here's the JTR twins

And my VK freak. I'm not giving up on her.

Everything is starting to recover from the lightburn.

And the only bean I've had so far that hasn't sprouted is another VK. Everything watered and watching my special needs kids.

Now back to some testing  yeah it's grueling. ;-)

Yea but someone has to smoke all this stuff right.

Your babies look great. Give them a week and they will push out another set and those yellow burnt ones will fade into the dirt.

Yeah, it's tough work. lol I gifted the rest of my CC to a good friend yesterday. The one always giving me beans. He brought over a sack full of fresh fried pies (blueberry, apricot, peach, and cherry) and we finished off the JTR and a bowl of the CC while munching awayv on the warm pies. Damn that was good. You shoulda seen his face when I gave him the CC.

brrrr is the word of the day. A frosty 17F with a wind chill of 2F. That's cold for us Southern boys.

My floors are so cold the nursery temp was 55 so I've got to get them up off of the floor enough. The twins are about the same. No sign of growth from the little one. On everything else, I trimmed off the necrosis and see new growth so they seem fine.

Glad you could put a smile on someones face. I tried to put a little more JTR in the sample packs since I think its the best of my 2009 grow. CC is the most fruity to me but others say it smells good but cant put their finger on it.

Im still waiting on people to get past JTR and try the rest. I told you to do JTR last, now you dont have any do you?

Aw shucks :wall: Rub it in. LOL, yeah GT but I've still got some HJ. :bigjoint: Haven't started on the other Jacks yet. This crappy cold spell has my throat raw from overexposure to the cold.:cuss: Had to break ice for the livestock yesterday with it 14F but today should start thawing out some.
I'll

So today I get back on my testing. Hey somebody's got to do it...:leaf::-P
