Hey!

I've yet to post a journal, so...here it goes.

The furthest along (northern lights-pic1/2) spent a couple weeks under my old 150w, so its size is less comparable to the new plants.

The tall tall girl is my jack frost, shes about 2 or 3 weeks in.

and the short squaty one is my twilight

All OMRI organic, fed with Biobizz line.

hit me with any questions or comments

I'm not using the bio heaven (yet)
I dont want to shell out the cash out of pocket, i'm waiting for some...returns from my investment, then I'll have the whole line

definately agree with you on that, it seems like the other additives might be nice, but I'm already having fantastic results with 3 strains so far just using the biogrow/bloom and alg-a-mic as well as fish mix. I do cheat a little and supplement my resevoir with silicablast (botanicare non organic) but it helps my strains deal with being in a warm little box. I have no weak branches or leaves, which is good, cause the Topmax really does make the calyxs heavier. I did not use topmax on my sweet tooth, and I had a quarter zip that ended up looking like it should have been around O or more because of fluffyness.

I started a DWC bubble bucket the other day, for 3 twilights, I'll have pics of that, and my veg. Set up on here sometime soon!

hello!

I've decided to update my journal.

Northern Lights: (pic 1)
Almost done, this should be the last week (currently flushing)

Jack Frost: (pic 2)
Into week 3, just recovered from some lockout and nute burn, back on track...

Twilight: (pic 3)
Going into week 2, just starting to flower. had some lock out, but back on track now.

Tri-Hydro Twilight (DWC): (pics 4-6)
finishing its week one in veg, I recieved them as 3 dying clones, they've been nursing and are back on a healty diet of GenHydro. The roots were almost dead, they have since emerged with new fuzzy white roots.

Also pictured (NL clones, JF clones)

Comment and Question away..

-keep on burnin'

The northern lights was fantastic!!!

It came out to be just over an oz (31g) dry weight, and as mentioned before, this was the last plant to come out of my 150w perpetual SOG cycle, and first to finish into my 400w cycle.

the nuggets came out pretty dense, aromatic and frosty! I started enjoying it after it dried, parting off 4 days worth of "dry" goods, then enjoyed the rest of it as it approached its week into curing.

the high was euphoric, and stupifying. I couldnt get much music writing/recording done because of the "a.d.d.-ish" effects. tasted like sweet citrus, pretty expansive smoke.

dwindling down in supply, but another jack frost is on the way to teh' dryer in 2 weeks!!

update

The hyrdo-Twilight will be moved into my flower box soon.

my organic twilight (pictured in the box) is dead, It started getting stunted in growth, and wouldnt flower worth a shit after 3.5 weeks. [I do not reccomend growing Dutch Passion - Twilight, In soil x indoors. Hydro x indoors will be fine, outdoor is ideal]

Another northern lights has moved into my flower chamber, giving me the following list:
-Jack frost^1 = week 5
-jack frost^2 = week 2
-NL^2 = <week 1
-Hydro twilight[hydro x ScrOG] moving in @ end of week =]

****New Cross to be sown soon****

I cross pollenated my Lemon OG with Sweettooth. also back-crossed my lemon OG, hoping to stabilize my growing conditions.

a pretty decent stock was attained, more of the L.OGxST were collected, dried, refrigerated, and now will start their new lives (this is my first cross...I have backed-crossed' my sweet tooth before to stabilize its short vegetative structure)

Also crossed, Jack frost x Citrus
and Northern lights x citrus (these seeds were misplaced by me =[!)

I need help coming up with names for my crosses!!! let me know what you guys think.

question,comment,+rep-away!

These three girls have taken Quite a stretch! been a while since the last time I updated, Camera issues.

Stretching is in part to, The fact That Twilight is an outdoor strain, and that my light does not move up nor down =/ i should fix that huh.

My Nutrient-lock-out-proned Jack frost is on the left side of the tent, about a week or two ahead of the Twilight.

fuck me they have grown a bit, hows it going bud ain't seen you here in a while. nute lockout sucks ball bags dont it! how many weeks into flower are you bud? i would be inclined to put supplementary lighting in that canopy to help that streching and fatten up those lower buds other wise it will all be junk. tis the trouble with 400 watters, thats why i have two! as for supplementy lighting use two 125 watt cfls. one blue spectrum and one red. flowering plants always benifit from a little blue light. hope it goes well bud, keep us posted!

You should lollipop those man. Its good to see a nice clear space about 6-12 inches from the rubbermade up. Will focus more attention on upper buds then.

I've always found that lollipopping stresses my plants out, and increases flowering time. =/ I need to make space for my other plants and projects more than I need a large yield.

I've got a 14w led on one side for supplementary lights, I'll be dangling a few cfls from the "cieling" of my box to take care of both the bottom branches, as well as the sides of teh colas! I also have to increase the area of my flower box, I keep smoking and procrastinating though.

I've been on, just no updates on this journal. I started something in the breeders paradise with all the strains I crossed last year, that I'll be posting throughout this year. some nice crosses on that list, like Lemon Larry x Sweet tooth! This twilight is at 20 days, so almost week 3. I think my jack got a lil rootbound-leading to its lock out (even though I feed this less than any plant I've had before), and I dont have space in my box to place a larger pot =[

I've been good man, thanks for asking. You been doing alright?

kinda, im ok in myself but iv had £100 worth of seeds munched by little critters. bastards! Cheese, blue cheese and kings kush. what a grow that was gonna be. still its my fault for being less vigulant. lesson learned. iv got some white widow clones and the church on the go now. ultra clean growroom, should have no probs but we will see. still sticking to biobizz nutes, my last smoke was really sweet tasting skunk thanks to that nute line.bongsmilie whats on for your next project?

Sorry to hear about your sprouts! and Bio-Bizz Skunk sounds like the greatest grow! I've loved all my results with biobizz. I got ino the whole DWC thing because I bought out a friends setup, and ended up witha couple gallons of GH, and the Twilight just would NOT! grow in the soil!

as for my next projects:

First up, I've got another Northern Lights I'll be throwing into the flower box once I expand the size (next couple of days). This will be a Coco/soil/perlite combo, New medium formulation for myself.

In addition to that, I have some Ebb n'Flow Jack Frost Making its way from the cloning stage, as well as COCO-organic jack frost following close behind.

I sprouted one of my Lemon OG X Sweettooth crosses, as well as two mystery bag seed, have not decided on organic/hydro yet though

Lemon OG X Sweettooth? sounds good man id like some of those beans, maybe ill breed my church with the white widow? call it white church! Dunno man iv got a lot to learn about breeding but theres no time like the present. let us now how that Lemon OG X Sweettooth grows like. thanks for the condolences on my sprouts. Is hydro more productive? im considering it soon.

Hydro is wayyy more productive (efficient), but soil is where my heart is.

Stressful morning:wall:
I did a complete resovoir change today, replaced 3.5 gallons @849ppm , PH @6.2.
While getting my plants back in, I bent several tops (My tops are flims and stretchy) and broke several leaves off. I got upset, My 3 little girls were all bent out of shape, I had to redo my airlines, I lost an end cap to my gang-valve! I dont even know if < 900ppm is what I want in flowering in dwc, But I couldnt find any info! & apparently the bubbleheads left RIU?

I smoked a bowl and leveled out. I'm worried if I'll stress these plants out.

oh, and I swapped in a Metal Halide bulb this morning to use for a couple days to fatten my leaves up (that was stress free  )

gosh, and my jack frost in soil is giving me a migrane!! I have not fed it in days, I have been flushing with water and clearex, and for some reason the leaves are still crisping over! I have a mind to just kill the plant and move something else into flowering, but I'm already 5 weeks behind on harvesting, and It should be 5 weeks before the twilight is done, and I'm out of bud and money!!!

One of my Lemon OG x Sweettooth sprouts Died.
one is in a hydro flood table type set up, but like my other seedlings, they're not holding up in this cold wheather. Not a good way to end the week =/ ughh, I need some change!
