question on using fox farm nutes

I been using Fox Farm nutes Grow big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom for my last two grows with great results. I was wondering if i should also use Beastie Bloomz, Open Sesame, and Cha Ching along with Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom, or is that over doing it?
Also can/should I also use Bushmaster, Gravity, and snow storm ultra, or are they the same as Beastie Bloomz, Open Sesame, and Cha Ching?
Basically do I use all 6 nutes ( liquid & solubles) or just one or the other? And If i do use all 6 can I also use Bushmaster, Snowstorm ultra, and Gravity? Or they the same as the Fox Farm solubles? When I look at the Fox Farm feeding schedule I think I should be using all 6 together but i just want to be sure! thanks for any help anyone can give me!

i have been wondering these same things as well. does anybody know an informative thread for information on nutes and soil? i am a noob and have found about all the information i need for everything else besides nutes and soil. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

run with all 6, the bushmaster stuff you could also use just start off slow but the ff 6 would be ok...

yea that's what I thought, I will use all 6 FF products together. My main concern was that I wanted to make sure the FF solubles were not the same thing as the Bushmaster or the Gravity. There labels kind of sounded similar to me! And I was told to be very careful when using Bushmaster and gravity. thanks for the input!

I'm almost sure gravity is the same thing as beastie, just different brand names. Same with cha ching and the other thing you mentioned.


I've been using fox farms 6 part for years, you'll do just fine with those... I would worry about over doing it when you start adding different brands that are supposed to be doing the same thing.

I've been using Tiger Bloom,Big Bloom,Beastie Bloomz with very good results with the ocean forest potting soil.I also use liquid karma and and just astarted using dark energy after seeing results of a freind of mine.

Myself I use all FF set up. I use the grow big in veg and Open sesame one week before going 12/ and one week after and then flush 3 days before going 12/ then start useing Big Bloom/tiger bloom and the others Beastie/Cha as I go .
I do not care for Humbolt products. I think they are over rated and so high in nutrients that you must be very gentle.

for right now I'm only using the Fox Farm Liquids. I want to get the solubles but I cant afford it right now. I already have the three Humboldt products so I will be doing some experimentation. Most likely with bag seed, or clones. But not right away, I got so much to do first. thanks everyone for the info +rep for all

The nice thing about the solubles is they are needed in separate steps. Never together.

Pick up one now.... 3 weeks later pick up the next.

If your gonna leave one out due to cost it would not hurt to skip open sesame. Though I cannot stress enough the importance of beastie and cha ching. Cha ching is what makes the foxfarm world go round imo.

True that. Thats how I purchased my line up. Well I even purchased my veg set up and veged hard before buying my 12/ set up.

You can use all 6 of those together.

Gravity is a flower finisher/hardener, only used in the final 2-3 weeks of flowering.. you have to raise the lights when you use it.

Bushmaster is made to stop vertical growth when you use it.. you usually only use it once, and very sparingly.. its supposed to be extremely hot. Makes your plant turn into a bush. Never used it before, sounds expert level :dunce:

Snow storm is supposed to increase oil production and possibly turn the plant purple.

I use fox farms myself, and I love all their products.. the 3 you mentioned are their flowering additives. One for opening flower (first 2 weeks), one for mid (3-6 weeks), and one for finishing.

Gravity is nice, makes for really dense buds.. about to give AN overdrive a try for the first time to compare. The overdrive seems like the better deal if it works, the humboldt guys give so little product.

Is it ok to use the liquids (Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom) every feed? It says to only use the solubles (Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching) every other feeding. I am not sure if that applies to the liquids as well or only to the solubles. I have read it is safe to use Big Bloom every feeding. I am not sure if the same is true for Grow Big and Tiger Bloom.

Opinions?

i use the liquids every other watering with great results, plus it saves money lol
