they look like they are ok for 5 weeks size-wise. they are a lil yellow though and im not sure about that part I only had to deal with PH & nute burn. yours dont look like nute burn...one of the vets on here will prolly give you better advice about that.

Are you serious?
I never heard of turning the AG of, I don't see anything on the sponges (BTW the new AG doesn't come with sponges, it comes with sort of a compacted mix of hey and soil)
so is the cause of the mold .. the sponges?
regarding the color, I think its only in the picture, they are indeed very green ;-)
thank you, your advise & input is very welcome...

yea there are lots of threads that say that keeping the sponges wet too long into the grow would promote mold, over watering issues & stem rot. but some say that they never had a problem so it could also be how sensitive the strain is.

I know once my roots hit the water. my plants started showing signs of over watering. once I turned off the AG water pump they perked up a lot

Hello there...
I added another air pump and stone and two more lights.
I have been using the new liquid nutes that came with my AG, but today I used one of the large AG tablets, since I just switched to 18/6 yesterday.
am I doing OK here?
I also noticed little golden spots on some of my leaves? is that serious?
could it be because I had it on 24/7 lights on for the fist five weeks?

started 12/12 lighting two days ago, I'm really becoming very very impatient here, still no buds are visible.
I used all feminized seeds, so I know they are all female, is it normal that no buds are visible at this stage?
I planted Dec 14th 27/7
Started 18/6 Jan 17th
Started 12/12 Jan 23rd
Maybe the roots are too crampt up in there, because I have 4 plants in my AG, when I tried to remove one of them (to give the others more room) the roots were all tangled up together so I left them as they were.
Any suggestions?

PS. I'm using Swissintruder seeds (Heidi's Pussy)

Its only day 2 of flower man, be patient haha, you will see buds start to form once they show sex, they are girls, but still have to show, so within 14 days you should see something, well 12 now if your 2 days in

and the plant to the back looks a little stretched how high above the plants are you keeping the lights
the lights are about four inches away.

what could happen from having too many plants in the AG
because the roots in there are HUGE, they almost fill up the tank, my four plants drink about half a liter of water everyday

If you look at the two plants on the right, they are very bushy and not much light goes behind the big fan leaves, should I cut some of them?

Sorry guys for asking so many questions as I have never planted anything in my life...

Cheers

Just to give you better prospective....
They're looking pretty good man. You may have problems with 4 plants. I have 1 and more than half my res is rootball. heh It is drinking close to a quart of water a day and she is about 40 days old. Good luck.

I know 4 plants are a lot for that space, but when I first planted, I didn't know that all 4 will be successful.
My question is; What kind of problem might I have from overcrowding?

I started with 4 too heh. 2 runts and 1 male, I transplanted the runts and killed the male. 1 runt was deformed then stopped growing and the other was a male at like 3 inches tall. heh BTW All were 12/12 from seed.

To answer your question, I am not sure. You may be ok with 4 females if they stay small. The only thing that sucks is removing them from the root ball if one is male. The ball gets huge and they tangle together. The male I had got chopped at the stem and the roots are still there and starting to rot. It hasn't hurt the survivor yet, I hope it makes it to harvest. I have a fem lowryder to grow next in the AG. I think I will only do 1 at a time now and stick to fem seeds for my AG.

The good news (for me): my seeds are %99.99 feminized, so I don't think I'm getting any males in there.

The bad news (for me): my roots already filled up my AG tank so that the tank top (where the pod holes are) will not fully install over the tank, so I laid the X that is attached to the tank top over my air stones (raising the tray about 3/4 of an inch over the tank) and sealed the side with black tape.

It seems to be working so far, I ended up with about %20 more room in my tank

I have read of people running into this problem and getting a container or bucket to replace the reservoir with a few bubble stones.

i'll post some pics after the mod.

I have been told about mine that they are suffering from heat stress.. move the lights back.. sense nuts are not an issue.. is this your first grow? I was/am having the same problem.. I have a different syst.. but the leaves look similar.. hope it helps..Oh yeah.. do you have a ph tester? That could be it too???
