Are you getting a carbon scrubber? That skunk is going to be dank
Yep I picked up the final materials I need today to make my own Carbon Scrubber. I will post it when its completed and how I made it, I figure I have a few days till it starts to stink!

Yes sir! That is why I chose to keep the lights on at night and off during the day, I made the room light tight so I should be good with the lights off during the day, I figured it would be warmer during the day so the temps wouldn't drop as much.

Ok so today was my first day of lights out and there seems to be some interesting results, I'm not sure if this is normal or not.

So some of the leaves at the top of the canopy seem to be turning a little yellowish, I can't tell if this is because of the HPS's different light color or what?

Also the leaves seem to be turned up a lot... Below are the pics.

On another note, the NEW timer I bought for my light isn't working so this morning before I left for work I had to turn the lights off, I recorded the time and turned the lights back on at about the same time (I think there was like a 10 min difference) tomorrow morning I plan to do the same thing then replace the timer at night when the lights should come back on.

I also added 2G of water back to my rez and added 16ml Micro and 32ml Bloom (according to the lucas formula I didn't need to do any additional add back according to my EC meter).

And finally I moved my light up a few notches on the chain since the plants are growing!

Thanks for tuning in!

Man I am getting excited, my plants have had only two days of dark period and one light period I can already see buds growing, I didn't get a chance to snap pics because the dark period just went back on (since I have the dark period during the day), I'll make sure to take pictures, they aren't like bug bud spots but you can defiantly tell they are bud spots. I read somewhere that this is when the fun really starts and exciting things start to happen.

It just sucks I can't check on them again till this evening when the light period comes back on :(

Ok so here is the latest:

I was hoping for a bigger change when the lights came back on, however I can't wait for the light schedule to come on, its like all day I wait and wait.. I honestly can't wait to go back to work monday so I have something to do to keep my mind off my plants :)

I replaced my DIY co2 bottle just to keep it fresh.

I tried to take some better pics of what I think are the initial bud spots (please someone tell me if I can crazy and these are not initial bud spots because I think they are but I am clueless lol).

The water intake of the plants seems to have slowed significantly, but the plants still seem to be growing quite well in there I had to raise the light another few notches and move my big fan on the right so it would hit more of the canopy (you can't see it in the pics)

I also figured out that the leaves wheren't turning yellow its the light making them appear that way lol... I'm such a noob... When the lights are off they look perfectly green.

Also I have postponed my tent for about a week, I put in some work this weekend in getting it setup but I want to get a light mover and get a SCROG screen together and make sure everything is working great before I start to germinate my Mazar seeds.

Anyway here are the pics I hope you enjoy..

So I added another DIY CO2 bottle, I need to get another plug thing which tells me when its empty like I have on my other bottle, but its better then nothing at the moment.

I skipped a day on adding water/nutes, so I had 3 gallons of water to add and 24ml of Micro and 48ml of Bloom, this brought my EC to 2148 (microSiemens)..

I checked my pH and its was at 6.0 exactly!

I wish the "what appears to be bud spots" would grow more! But the plant seems to be growing like a weed! LOL! Here are the new pics... I've had to move the light up nightly this plant is getting crazy!

I just went and measured the plants and they highest branch is 30"!

You could tie that sucker down, it will open the plant up and get a good canopy(flat), then you could lower the light a little and get good penatration, congrats on the grow

So the plants grew another 3" in the last 24 hours.. and it was getting hard to move the light up since the plant was growing over the door way.

I found out I can supercropp up to 2 weeks into flowering, so I supercropped I didn't break any branches this time and it really helped a lot!

Also do you have any suggestions on how exactly to do the tie downs? Should I run string from the top of the closet? Should I tie down to the bucket and cut slits? Should I put some kind of metal rod on the wood boards and put strings in that?

I'm seriously a noob and any advice would be appreciated!

Since I'm in clay rocks I can't really put in posts since I don't think they would stick like they would in soil, should I construct some kind of a mesh screen?

Thanks a lot! Any info is appreciated with +rep!

Heres a post about "Low Stress Training". Hope it helps. Your SuperCropping gave me an idea for a mother I want to flower, +Rep for that one.

Ok I think I have a female and a hermie.. I am about 90% sure one of these is a female but I think the other might be a hermie since it looks like it might have balls but it also looks like it has "bud" spots.

Well tonight was a total disaster, apparently I didn't have my watering tube secure enough and it got loose and flooded the entire 12G rez onto the floor I've spent the last hour or so soaking up the water and putting fans on the wet carpet to try and dry the area up ASAP! Good thing I decided to check the plants before I went to bed! Good thing the light cycle runs for another 6 hours so hopefully the light will help evaporate the water with the fans!

On a positive note my friend and I just about finished our carbon filter I just need to get more carbon to put into the filter.. we made it pretty big.

Honestly I am not very good and this kind of stuff so I am really making some noob mistakes but hopefully the bud turns out well!

Be careful for mold and mildew. Get a buncha fans going on the wet spots. Atleast the plants are good.
Thanks man! Besides the fans is there anything else I can do to prevent mildew/mold?

if I get it what should I do? Currently I'm waiting for the lights to come back on... How can I tell if any mold or mildew formed?
