I would leave it 12/12 and when you think she is done and the trichs are going amber, but her in the dark for 4-5 days.Hey man u think its a good idea that I switched the light cycle to 10 hrs? My first grow which this is the second they started re veging.
Thanks for commenting. I'm glad I could help the decision. This is the second grow and the first one I did not shake the nutrients ever before I used them so this grow I shake it up and its way darker than they were so I figured I might have overnuted a bit. I only used organic nutes. I chopped one bud off last friday I believe and smoked today. Man it is a sweet uplifting high. At least at week 9 that is. Nutes didnt seem to harm anything. I am glad everybody is enjoying. Check out my poll in my sig and vote. I am gonna journal the whole next grow rather than week 4.Bdub.....totally made my mind up after watching this thread for sum while now,, im in the middle of another easyryder grow but when i reach end of week five im going to veg sum VK out for the remaining 5/6 weeks along side them then switch light cycle when the easy ryder are harvested.....Good work amigo, this thread help me choose the right plant....
Growlow....
Someone told me that I should actually up it the last couple weeks because then they get more light and at this point they cant switch back to vegging. Think it might help with the more light??I would leave it 12/12 and when you think she is done and the trichs are going amber, but her in the dark for 4-5 days.
My hydro guy does this and he has amazing results. Not only that but he broke it down to me as to why things happen (science of things).
Hey guys, I got week 10 updates. Check out the picks. I chopped down my smallest plant. The others dont seem ready yet so not gona rush them. Comment let me know what ya think. It is hard getting good picks under that light so I did post some of the chopped plant in more natural light.Someone told me that I should actually up it the last couple weeks because then they get more light and at this point they cant switch back to vegging. I am guessing it is going to be about 8-9 ounces out of the 5 plants. Yeah alot of them still have tons of white hairs. Does that matter or just pay attention to the trichs? 2nd grow here just want to make sure to get them right. I love the smoke. It is really lemony with like a citrus twist. Smells like fire. I can smell it through the one hitter holder like crazy. I can't bring it in places with me like I can with alot of others I do and think nothing of it. It is a pretty tight seal. Those frosty looking nugs look great. How does she smoke? Plants look awesome but the pics don't do them justice. Wish I could see them under more natural lighting.... Is there some setting on the camera to filter the lighting out? My pics don't look anywhere near that yellow and washed out under the hps on my $100 digital camera.
But yeah, they are getting REALLY close to harvest. The bud in the first pic doesn't look done but they look done in most of the other pics. How much are you expecting to yield?
I cut this one down yesterday. It is looking like a pretty good yield off this one. It appears to be my 3rd largest plant too. It was ready though and the others were not yet. I will let you all know what the final weight is per plant.I usually go by the hairs and color. You can usually tell when the bud is done just by looking at it. I do keep a pocket microscope on-hand, though just to double check.
What do you guys think. I got more pics up in a min.I cut this one down yesterday. It is looking like a pretty good yield off this one. It appears to be my 3rd largest plant too. It was ready though and the others were not yet. I will let you all know what the final weight is per plant.
The first one was only 20 grams which I was disappointed but it was only a top. The plant took too long to start rooting compared to the others so it was tall and lenky so I trimmed everything on the lower so it could focus its efforts. This one looks more like probably 2-1/2 ounces maybe. We'll see. Let you know exactly though. I will post updates of the 3 that are still left tomorrow.
So here is a link to the started of my other grow. Midnight Kush, NYC Diesel, Super Skunk, LA Woman, & Lemon Skunk. Tune in guys. What do you guys think. I got more pics up in a min.

Got my week 11 updates guys. These guys are still getting more potent so I am letting em run. Let me know what you think. First 5 pics are cut down plant no. 2. As I said before plant 1 was just a top. I got my two biggest plants still going.
I know. They were so sticky I wanted to let them dry and then cut each top down to the little buds it really is. When I do that I will do more manicuring. SO many dried up leaves it was hard to get them without doing more damage.Looks good but you still have alot of manicuring to do to make those buds smokable. I'll be following your other grow. I've got a beastly LA woman about two weeks into flower. Should be a heavy yielder.
I hear ya. That strain looks especially torturous to trim with all those little leaves in there. Looks great either way.I know. I know. It is a good problem to have though that the buds are so tight that they are tough to trim. The buds kill the leaves. Or maybe overfert. EIther way I will say the buds did it. LOL. Not sure but 2 of the last 3 are really white and sticky. They are still going and they are the best 2 and biggest 2.I hear ya.
