Basically, the contest will be broken down into three categories.
* Sativa dominant(by genetics, not appearance... ... Unless you dont know the genetics... Then we go by appearance.)
*Indica dominant(same stipulations)
*Hi-breds

All plants must be started(seed or clone) no earlier than March 1st. All plants must be grown, and all pics must be posted ON December 1st-7th. If you've already posted your final pics of your girl by then, you must re-post them during that week.

Voting will start on December 8th, and will end on December 15th. I will count the votes and winners will be posted on December 16th.

The vote will take place in a separate thread that will be started to collect the votes for each category. There will be one thread for all 3 categories.

All three categories will have the same contests. The contests for each category will be...
*Tallest Plant*
*Most Beautiful Plant*
*Best Calyx-To-Leaf-Ratio(NO CHEATING!)*
*Best yield per one plant*
*Ugliest Plant*

When you submit your plant for consideration, you must specify what your entering it for. You may enter your plant in up to 4 categories.(Only because you cant win ugliest and most beautiful)

Im sure rules and bounder ies will be stipulated along the way, but for now, the only stipulation I can think of is that, if your entering your plant into the "Best Calyx-To_leaf-Ratio" category than YOU CAN NOT TRIM! NO CHEATING!

This thread is open to all manner of outdoor posts! It will be used for posting pics of your composting soil, your holes that you've prepared, your plants(if you've already started them)

Growers are invited to post pics of how everything is going, what you plan to grow, how... There is no hijacking the thread, here.

The thread is open until December 1st!

There will be a grand prize plant award. All voters will vote on the over-all best plant from all categories, and I will find a prize of some kind, for the winner.(Prolly some glass or something)

Wow guess I'm the first one here........I'm in. I'll be doing my 1st outdoor grow this year. I've only ever grown inside, so this should be interesting.
I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada and will (hopfully) have 5 clones from my buddy, which are Blue God (Blueberry/ God Bud) I'm pretty sure that they're both indica, don't quote me on that though. Will be putting them out prolly around April, weather permitting.........
Not sure on the soil yet, leaning towards Sunshine #4 but am going to talk to my buddy and see what he uses. He's an OG grower. Been growing for over 15 years and he swears by this strain for outside, every year he's got LOTS and LOTS of dank buds.
So my understanding is that you do 4/5 of the sub catagories? I'll take the ugly instead of the beautiful one, and enter the rest.

unless its alright that I enter clones I take on march 1st, from the set I have now? if thats the case I will just do that I have lots of things to choose from also but majority is unknown.

hahaha, good shit I forgot it was march already. too late to take clones on the first, probably a good thing too cause my babies were only 10 days old by then. damn it man your making me pack more in lol oh well. The only thing that more marijuana hurts is you memory, I think i should cut back for just a bit.

5 more Michi MED seeds soaking in water in 3..2..1

yeah I would say I have to agree, sometimes RIU seems like its just a big un organized collection of assholes and flamers spewing shit and useless non sense. It lacks focus sometimes, for instance I just read a thread where a guy tried to grow a plant with the Ipod touch flashlight app. at least I know there are a few users on here that have there shit on straight, and are not wasting there time and other's time with useless garbage

I try to be careful who I send invites to, but for the most part I like this site. Trust me, I COMPLETELY get where your coming from, tho. I dont know how many times I've posted to people who fuck their plants up, that Cannabis has been growing all by itself for centuries.

Yesterday, I posted in a thread where some kid wanted to know if he put his seeds in rooting hormone gel, would he get a bigger yield when it was done...
:neutral::neutral: :-?

Im always nice, tho. I dont flame people and make em' feel dumb. I just repeatedly remind them that as growers, the best we can do for our plants is to TRY and replicate mother nature as closely as possible.

Or just grow in mother nature :hump: which is what this thread is all about (lol didnt mean that to be dirty I swear) oh and donkey I hope you stay away from my plants man. I think I might regret making you into compost you seem pretty cool though, but not if you harm my ladies.

I also have a DNA Sweet Haze, Lemon Skunk, and a Gigabud i started on march 1st, just worked out that way. I live in South Louisiana, the best weed i ever smoked was grown here outside. we grow trees here, 8 ft. plants are common here. yes, i will post pics of the trees when i get them goin. great idea, i will go for the Indica, Sativa and the ugliest, dont care if i win, just keeps me encouraged.

Just saw this.

Unfortunately, I start my season's seeds in January, for a Spring seed crop.

I may enter a few Trainwreck clones I intend to take, in a few days. Unfortunately the slowest, most difficult to grow in my collection...

It will be fun to see everybody's best, etc!
