it would stop all the grow house thefts. in cali my uncle has guns and dogs just to make sure. its happenens alot i guess.

it happened a few weeks ago a few towns up from me, guy shot one his OWN patients fer trying to rob him, he didnt know it was him until after tho.

the addition of an entire heavy industry, and all the retail services to dispense the products of the industry, etc etc cannot hurt the economy....
with cash strapped gov'ts, i cant believe they havent legalized it yet.

If anyone says 'no', they're growing/selling it for the wrong reasons and should be ostracized from the community.

To that... hell YES legalize it! Free the weed.

I would like to keep my same rights I have right now as a medical patient/grower as far as growing what I need and have it be legal for others, Im just not for the 5x5 area allowed for outdoor grows. I know many people that would outgrow that with one plant and I like a variety for throughout the year not the same med strain for a long time. So in my opinion with some common sense amendments to the bill I would much more inclined to be excited, but I dont like government getting too involved, possible price gouging/taxes, limited areas for homegrows and any other funky guidlines they want to impose. Let the people with recommendations keep on with their same medical needs and allow for the legalization to take care of the average smoker that doesnt want to grow or smoke alot. I was originally all for pure legalization but lately Ive been thinking a little different. One think that needs to happen is for non-violent prisoners in for less serious marijuana violations, like possession etc. should be released, its ridiculous how over populated our system is. In the end Im sitll on the fence, it will be hard for me to vote no, but still havent made up my name, let us know what you think....peace

ostracize pretty much means exposure and then rejection by your peers.
ancient greece used it as a method to impeach out of control elected officials.
a general vote would be called, then if 6000 votes were recived in favor, the person to be ostracized was banished from the city-state for a decade.

almost makes you wish you could do it to todays politicians, lol...

Alright well I'll play the role of being against it, I like it the way it is right now...if you want to grow its not hard to get a doctors recommendation, its basicly decrimalized right now except for selling it, Im really just dont have a clear understanding what legalization would actually do, I mean would we have govermnet based shops with mass produced weed, along with the mom and pop store trying to run the collective. I do like the idea that California would produce some of the best genetics in the world if the bad ass growers were completely free to compile and distribute their gear. I really wonder what legalization would look like, in grocery stores, gas stations, or just smoke shops, I just dont know...does anyone think that quality would be seriously compromised over time.

Also the supreme court of california just ruled that medical growers could grow/possess as much as they needed as long as they could defend that amount in court. Even before in the strictest counties we could have 6mature plants which would take up much more space than the one on the ballot, now with the court ruling that area needs to be drastically increased or atleast for the medical growers/co-ops/caregiver's.

I bet if they ever do legalize it that DWI's and Drunk driving accidents go up 1000%.

Legalize weed.

Limit alcohol use (like ephedrine).

Thats what i want to see
