Third 600w Medical Grow (Pineapple Express & LA Woman)

Thanks for stopping into my third journal. You can check out my second journal if your curious. I feel like I'm finally experienced enough to provide some advice to others. But I know the value of continued education. Stick around, it should be another good show. As always comments and feedback are welcome!


Strain: 3x Pineapple Express Clones, 3x LA Woman Clones
Medium: Clones in Root Riot cubes. Then into 50% Hydroton, 50% rockwool mini-cubes in 2 gal smart pots.
Growing style: Hand watered then Flood & drain
Methods: Topping, Super cropping
Base Water: City tap, EC 0.4 mS, Ph 8.5
Nutes: Ionic Grow/Bloom/Boost & Mother Plant for my mothers
Additives: Snow Snow Ultra, Silica blast, Liquid Karma, Hygrozyme, Sweet Berry, Greenfuse growth & bloom stimulator, Cal-Mag
pH: 5.5 to 6.5, using GH Ph Down
EC: Starting .7 mS working up to 2.2 mS
reservoir size: 18 gallons filled to 15 with nutrient solution.
Flood volume: 7-10 Gals depending on pots/flood height
Feeding schedule: Hand watering with drain to waste for veg. 3x floods a day flowering.
Lights: 2 - 85W CFL 6500K, 1 - 64w 4ft 2tube T8 for clones/mothers (~12,000 lumens); 64w 4ft 2tube T8 for vegging clones (~4000 lumens) ; 600W Hortilux HPS in flower room (~88,000 lumens).
Light Schedule: Clones - 18/6; Veg - 18/6; Flower - 12/12
Temps: 75-80 degrees f lights on; 66 degrees lights off.
Humidity: 30-45%
Circulation: Box fan on low/medium, 675 CFM Can Max-Fan 8"
Odor Control: Phresh filter 6x24" 550 CFM
Size of grow rooms: Veg/clone room - 2' x 2' x 6' space in closet; Flower room - 4.5' x 2.5' x 8' (73 cubic ft. of space).
How long Veg'd: 3 weeks or 8-12".

The clones have rooted and are preparing to go into flower in a week. They were topped tonight so they should recover by then.

And the nug to be beaten this round, dunno if I can do it, but here's to trying.

They all stand 5-6 inches tall at this point. They were topped not too long ago and should be ready to flower in a week.

Subscribed someguy15. I was wondering how long did you flower the pineapple express? I topped mines. This is my 1st grow but it has been going a while. It seems topping it only slowed it down and i also ended up cutting off a bunch of the leaves which i really shouldn't have done but I was to try to get the more light to the bud sites which i shouldn't have done.

I like it anywhere between 53 and 60 days from switching to 12/12. Yeah you only need to cut off a little when you top. I like to top mine around 6" about a week before I switch to flower. I don't remove leaves at all, just arrange the buds best I can and let the plant do the rest.

Ahh some guy your last grow turned out very well a huge improvment over the first round you also seemed to have alot more control over ur nutes as well which is nice to see but how do you think the 600 hundy will do over summer idk how the dirty mitten gets in summer never been yet but will u need an ac or will the 8 inch be cranked up a lil more to compensate for the summers heat also i know you we experimenting with some height problems in the last one with those monster colas i was wondering if you though of maybe lowering your flood table some to give you a few more inches not sure if this is an actual option for you or not also but things are looking great on the clones very good root system you have going on there with them and dare i say it again the look so nice n green as usual i am movin this month to te beach and should be up and going with a new grow i also got a lil out door space im thinkin of buildin a lil green house n growing some autos n stuff over the summer i also am gonna pop my cali connection gear and start loking for the phenos i wanna keep n run those i hope all is wel with you and keep it rollin your really getting this dialed in nice sg oh also i think the big nug comes out to about 22-24gs what was your overall yeild in round two

I got central air so its all good already ran that shit a few days now but michigan temps are all over. Can't move the table due to rez size, but I'll be changing it up when I move. Round 2 isn't going to be done for a week so I'll have to get back to you on that. Enjoy your new space.

Flipped the lights on the clones to 12/12... they will stay in their current home for a few days until my flower room opens up. Probably tuesday or wednesday they will be going under the 600 for the real fun.

Correct. I only had 4 total in round 2 and they filled the entire space, hoping these stay a tad smaller.

Everyone who was wondering, the PE nug dried to 35.9 grams.

Day 1 Flower - 5/9:
Girls are looking good and green! They are all branching nicely, I just hope I didn't wait too long to flip them. Hopefully they won't explode too tall...gotta get my carbon filter relocated, that would buy me another 8-10 inches. They will be going under the 600 on Wednesday can't wait.

Ran 1 my first round, 2 my second and 3 on my third round... it's amazing, I've been debating going strait PE but I wanted the variety.

Girls are into their new home now under the 600. Still hand watering the rest of the week but I'll probably get the flood table going this weekend. Can't wait to see what they do in a week.
