it was flawed from the first post the only thing i hate about these threads is that some noob will end up thinkong a 8000 watt grow will cost only a few bucks to set up and 8k of lights is no worry.

I gotta say i'm with abs on this one, when i read the first post i called bs, i wanted to see how far it would go and who would lick his nuts and who could it.

3 phase commercial. yes it uses the same WATTS but what do they bill for 3 phase commercial? maybe the rates are different.
guess if it's not 20 CFL's then it's unbelievable.
i can get lights for that price. just gotta know where to look.

i also found the PG&E website. i couldn't get the exact #'s but, YES, commercial is a different billing rate than residential.

I have no idea, it was nothing to do with me.
it's 3 phase commercial.
i used to work at a welding company. the shop was on THREE PHASE. we ran 4 - 6 welders all day, 10 hours a day 6 days a week. the electric bill was under a grand. how could this be? maybe it's the commercial 3 phase. i could be wrong.

ummmmmm let it go the electril bill was $531.31 exactly i checked the meter. and he only payed 266.12 per light. i looked at the reciept. the plants were not @ day 28 he had worked nearly 2 months. shows how little you all know.

how come whenever someone comes on here with a big grow they get attacked? all he wanted to know was how he was doing. it is his first grow. i've seen more than one person do just as well. with the right amount of start-up money and a good friend who already knows, it's pretty easy. california is blown up. there's no need to worry about being robbed. yes it happens but nowhere near as often as you would expect. half the people on my block grow. we don't share it with each other but we all keep an eye out. it's like a "community". strange, i know. as far as electricity, who cares? the guy just wanted to share.
