landlord checkin house, what should i do?

i got a slight problem with my growbox in my closet, ihave 5 girls in a scrog grow startin 2 weave em. so im bout 2 resign a lease 2 rerent the house and the owner sent a letter she want 2 see the inside. i have a carbon filter and air freshener in room, should ijust lock it n say that roomie isnt home? or break it down n put plants in car 4 alil? idk where else. do u think they will care about seein in the bedroom? just gettin a lil worried, thx 4 an input

depends on who is actually coming and where u at (college town/condo etc...), My boy had an off campus apartment and the landlord was cool with everything as long as he got paid. Hes got the key to every door so it being locked wont be a problem, but prb wont check a closet too throughly. But if its the property management company ppl ide movie them out or be prepared to get fucked bc they are dicks. Both people have the authority to check and report all hope it goes well

I just saw on google someone got fucked over by the landlord over 200 plants. then again it said the guy had the plants hanging to dry in the living room.

I would leave them in the closet as long as they dont stink to bad. ITs way way riskier moving plants outside then keeping them inside. Just turn off the lights close the closet and cover your grow bow with clothes or anything you can.

is there a a accsess pannel in the closet? if so MOVE THEM! landlords love to check closets that but up to bathrooms and kitchens for water damage.

Totally move them, and you should have an explanation for the equipment. Got to make sure nobody sees what it is your moving, and don't damage your babies in the move!!!

my company comes once a year . cover smell keep in closet . worked for me . i know when they come so i plan harvests around that , it sucks having to tear down and pack and making the basemen tlook livable for 5mins once a year . its just a fire/smoke alarm check so they dont nose around the bedrooms

Landlords cant sift through your shit... If they ask whats in the box say "Storage". I've had my landlord come into my grow room multiple times All my plants are in a grow tent I pull down all the ventilation hosing and etc cleaned it up all nice and when I was asked what the tent was for... I said "Storage" Never had a problem since and he's been back 4-5 times now. Turn your lights off / ventilation off and cover it up with a blanket.

Get your shit out fast! The landlord has the right to look everywhere, excluding into drawers, boxes and such. Lame excuses about why they can't look somewhere just raises suspicions you don't need. Since it's a rental home, you did build everything to break down quickly just for this reason, right? Your plants should recover quick, so don't worry about it. Just DO IT!!!
Believe what I say, I'm a landlord and If someone told me I couldn't look in a room or closet, you can bet your ass I'd get in there one way or another. They are my houses after all.

better to move them for a day. If you piss off the landlord , you are going to have to move them anyway when you get kicked out.

dude, youre gonna have a sog sittin in yer car? hope you have tinted windows, cuz then ANYONE can look in your car and see them. i say hold still and play it smart, my landlord sucked, so when he came to visit, it was only for money, just bring up something going on in the house, (water drip, ac on the fritz) as you "casually" steer him away from your room!

if you are a legit medical patient (I am and live in Cali), then hang your paperwork on the inside of the door and tell him to F off if he has an issue with it. The law is there for a reason. Unless your lease agreement specifically states otherwise, he can't do shit about it. If not a medi-grow, then I agree....move the suckers. Good luck!

I gotta agree with most people, move 'em. it depends on the type of grow box. If they are in a locking cabinet that looks like a clothing storage box, it might be ok, but you are better off moving them.

Well, you can spend like less than an hour moving it to your car or a friend's house ooooor you can spend time in jail. But I mean whatever. Tell your new boyfriend Tank I said Hi. ;) Don't risk it. Just move it.
