^ hey thanks for the quick advice!! Root riot I agree is pretty kick ass, even thoe its my 1st time and havent used anything else:) I thought about mixing the ffof and the pro-mix(antifungicide) together for a less-hot medium. Maybe like 50/50 or something?? But if I was to go with just the OF I would flush it( I have 3 gallon square pots with a total of 6 drainage holes at the bottom, so I would flush with 6 gallons of water do I got that right?) I also Have smaller, maybe like 1.5 liter square pots that were meant for younger plants startering out that I could use but I figured that the less transplanting&shock from a newgrower the better so why not go into the final grow pot ehh?

Well I know what I'll be up tonight doing;)!!!
I used FF happy frog and FF ocean mix for my seedlings at that age and they did great. I just didn't use nutes for about 3 weeks. My pots were smaller though...Idk if that would make a diff or not.

hey ya'll ZI just noticed that 1 out of 15 seedlings has a little yellow spot on 1 of its leaves. Now theres been no nutes of any kind no bugs no shit like that just water. None of the others have anything on them and look great. This one doesnt have droopy leaves or appear to be limp&lifeless so wtf did I do to it??? Burning I dont think so b/c theyve been under a T-5 Fluro 4ft/4tubes @ 1st was about 8inches away then couple days moved it cloder to about 5ish inchs so idk if that would be it. My guess is water, it does have 1 leaf thats droopin a little bit but just one, an its not the one with the yellowish looking burn on it. BTW they are about 6days old since sprouting. Ive been going extremly cautious with the watering do to overwatering being a newgrower like me biggest mistake so I could have underwatered it since none of the others have it??? Any help from you guys would be awesome!!!!

Is it the little rounded leaves closest to the dirt that are yellowing?

^ No its the actual leaf, like there are the very 1st 2 little leaves that are closest to the dirt and then the 2 leaves grew out and are the actual leaves that will start to grow bigger(sorry I dont know how to explain it well) Its the leave(and now theres a tiny spot on the 2nd one now) that have yellowish on them that is prolly on 1/2 of the one leaf and just a tiny spot starting on the other. These are the true leaves, NOT the to little leaves that are there after the seed 1st sprouts. Thing is, Its only on 1 out of 15 and they have all been in root-riot cubes under the T -5 about 4-6 inches away from the light. Theres been no nutes yet and as of today I transplanted them into soil ( Pro-Mix and FFoF mix) but as I said this happened before the transplant while in the cubes.

It has to be over/under-watered. PLEASE somebody help me out, I'll post pix when thier done importing!!! But any opinions would be GREAT!!!

ok I thought that I might have a mg issue so I added 1 tsp of calmag per gallon yesterday and now it seem like the plant is getting worse. It only effects the bigger fan leaves. How do you guys think I can solve this issue.

I always water with RO water with ph 6.0-6.2. I tested the soil ph today and it is 7.2.

What can I do?

I think the best way to answer your problem would be through a more visual approach. Send the pictures as quickly as possible and I will work on answering your question a little more helpful.

I think the best thing for you to do right now is read. Here is a link to a thread that came to mind when you asked your question.

I am looking at these pictures and honestly there are only a couple things that come to mine. I can see you're growing in soil so it's nothing to do with hydro problem and that eliminates quite a bit. A large Ph fluctuation will do that and if you aren't monitoring your water then it's possible the Ph fluctuated while u weren't paying attention. I honestly think you should flush and water with plain water until things get better or worse and see if that helps any. Let me know man because this is a big concern for me now. Keep in touch please.

i had a VERY similar problem with one of my plants. after much trial and error it ended up being a CAL defficiency, ontop of a PH fluxuation. so if it gets worse after flushing, and feeding clean water you may want to take tht into concideration.

[EDIT] i flushed, and boiled crushed egg shells and watered with that water on NON nute days. it cleared up in a few days.

Great info bud thanks for chiming in. The cal-mag was my initial thought but he said it made it worse so it had me a little stumped. Thanks for helping JS.

yea thats what messed me up the most when this problem accured, adding more MAG just worsened the CAL deff. adding CAL one day, then a small amount of MAG that is in my nute soulution the next watering evened it out.
but no problem man, figured i might as well have ya take a second think on it lol
peace

its so weird out of 23 plant this is the only one that is suffering this and al of them are watered the same way.... I'm thinking maybe this one is a poor genetic plant. I always test the ph when I water it is always around 6 to 6.5 when i water them. I'm going to flush that plant. Any adivse how to do the flush properly?

you want to water your plant with 3x more water then soil in your pot. so if your ina 5 gal pot, you want to flush with 15 gals of water.
try not to just dump all the water into the pot and let it drain, as this will compact your soil like crazy, depriving the root zone of air, witch will worsen your problems dramatically.

Jumbo beat me to the punch again :D Yes 3x the amount of soil you have is sufficient for a good flush. Make sure you fill it up then let it drain fill it up and let it drain so it doesn't compact like jumbo said :D

Hey thanks man, I couldn't figure out how to send you the pic so I made it the profile pic. I changed all of the water and gave it all fresh water and was gonna leave the light off today. But it's getting worse. I think it seems as if the roots have blocked up and it's not getting anything. It was like a week or 2 from being done. Should I just cut and see what happens? I don't want my baby girl to die the first time, too much hard work in the last 4 months. any specific nutrients that might help? Thank you sooooo much for whatever guidance you can give.

Greeting's,I am a new grower and one of my plants seems to have stretched,I had them under a 1000 watt HPS Light, they grew fast but I was told they are streched,so my question how do I get them to become bushy before I flower them.As I said I am new at this and can use all the help I can get, thank you in advance...........gatekeeper777
