neighbor told me to "do something" with the plants I put on his property...

He is the deal, I have an empty lot next to me and the guy who owns it lives out of state and hasn't been around for years... I decided to put 10 or so in the ground and another 7 in pots... of all the luck, I just finished transplanting in to FFOF in a primo spot and THE OWNER SHOWS UP!

He was really nice about it... we have never met and after a bit of small talk he stepped closer (his wife, son and grandson where standing with him) and said, "we saw some plants in pots, and some in the compost that you will need to do something with"...

Shit, now, I doubt if he will ever be back, if he hasn't called the cops by now I doubt if he will, and I am really good at reading people and I got the feeling he really didn't care other then it was on his property.

moving pots is easy. some of my plants are close together and are 4 feet tall. can I transplant them? do I just leave 'em and take my chances? maybe leave 3 - 5 of 'em so if he does call the cops it won't look like a production.

If he had showed up two weeks ago he would have seen nothing... but that's not what happened.

I all ready moved the pots. now I am decided if I show transplant those bigger plants, leave 'em or pull 'em and forget about it.

The thing that sucks the most is this was an awesome location... 8 - 10 hours of direct sunshine directly overhead on top of an old compost site... I built up the site a bit and added 2 bags of FFOF per plant... these things should "grow like a weed".

As far as having to "do something", plant some non-cannibas plants around your existing plants so there is a better blend. That way if he comes back and sees your plants there will be others for him to appreciate. Try some vegetables or corn. It's kind of late in the season, so you would be better off buying some than starting from seed.

From experience, neighbors are much more tolerable if you grow other plants as well. It wont have the stigma of just an all cannabis garden.

little harsh there but the point he brings up is kinda true. If i were you i would try my hest to transplant all those plants out of the soil and off of his property. Girst of all it is his property so you have to respect that and he was nice enough to not call the cops. I would be really happy as long as he didn't call the cops, even if i lost all my plants. So don't make the reputation of growers worse than it already is, just get all your plants off his property and respect his property and the fact he didn't call the cops. Good luck

And don't listen to these guys, make sure your plants are off of his property. Don't leave them on there. I am not saying i don't grow on peoples property, but if i was told to move them i would happily do it rather than go to prison, get a felony, mess up my life or whatever else that is ultimately worse.

I live on a small penisula on a small lake... dead end road... this guy lives 5 states away and was up for a family reunion 180 miles away... decided to drive up with the family to look at his investment.

I don't disagree that I am a dumb ass... it really isn't smart for anyone to grow weed when it is illegal.

The only person that could have seen them is someone who went to that specific property to really look it over... hence the owner or possible a potential buyer.

I took a risk and lost, I am lucky, I came here for advice, I got it, I will not let my greed, ego or arragence get in the way... I have removed all but 4... it was over 90 today and very humid... I will get the other 4 tomorrow.

I think I really came here to get reassurance that I need to respect this guy and do the right thing... as much as it hurts to...

BTW, I have not smoked for over 20 years... I just started again about a year ago... I decided to put some effort into this to share with my brother who has lukimia.

Hmmm that would either have to be a lot of weed or a cheap lot. And the weed is for his brother not to sell. Too bad the flawed money hungry government has to tell us that we can't grow a harmless plant for personal consumption. A country that was errected on belief of freedom for all is still telling us what we can't do. Reminds me of the civil rights era, free but not free. being a noob I got over excited with the nice weather in April so I tossed three swiss cheese beans in a big pot... two months later I realized the pot was going to be too small so I cut the bottom off and ready-rod the two together, drilled some holes in the sides to let it breath, gave it a paint job and added the wheels...
