hey guys this morning i ordered 2 regular AK48 seeds from pick n mix seeds ( cheers for letting me know about them MS ) a total bargain at £1.70 each!!!!

so my plan is to get 1 female and 1 male and pollinate the female ak48 and also pollinate the mutant re-veg so i get some seeds to keep the cost of all this down so in theory i could get hundreds and hundreds of seeds for a few quid, i know they will be like 50/50 M/F but i will just plant two at a time.

this snow white is really good so i can see my self sticking with it for a long time and plus having it crossed with AK48 i reckon it could get quite interesting and make something good out of this :eyesmoke: i grew nirvanas ak48 for my first grow and now i have learnt so much i have been itching to have another go at it.

im hoping to get them by saturday ( how quick has there postage been in the past for you MS? ) and then i will start germing them straight away.

any thoughts on all of this guys?

How is the AK48 tam? I am trying to narrow down my first strain I order and would like something that is hardy, good thc, and a good yielder too. I Know the AK47 has these traights and is a good starter plant if you will?

As for the seeds, I say go for it. I am all about saving money. lol

the AK is good mate i had a great time growing it and that was my first grow, i had Maturesmoker tag along throughout the grow which was brill and helped me so much. i done well with it so i look forward to seeing what i can do with it now :eyesmoke:

im deffo gonna pollinate the snowwhite mutant pheno with an ak and see what that produces :eyesmoke: hey i could send you some beans dude

Ive got some Purple Kush x's that were gifted to me! Maybe we can work something out.:hump: From what she tells me they are pretty stony cross. They look to be a heavy indica? She would not tell me what they are crossed with either. She did say that I will really like it though.

Here is what the web site had to say about it.

the smoke from the ak could have been smoother but i think i dried it out way to fast being a noob and they shrank alot as i harvested way to early but the smoke was still very strong and had me and the wife laughing our heads off everytime!!!

but the ak's strongest character is the smell they totally stank my house out when they were just 3 weeks into veg seriously if odour is a problem and you dont use a scrubber then you will have problems.

all my grows go on in the loft and the smell totally stays up there so i dont have a problem, but saying that the reveg mutant i have in my bedroom is stinking aswell no where near as bad as the ak but still very sweet.

i really do think this Snowwhite x AK48 is gonna be something good :eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

come on peeps what you all think of this? good idea?

To MS, i know you have grown the AK48 before and the snow white so you will know what im on about, what do you think?

Just popping my head in to say great grow, yet again! ..loving and considering the re-vegging

I found your snow white journal really helped and inspired me dude. Now i got 4 of my own SW's going, one week into flower and can't wait to sample the goods!

The SW48 mix sounds an interesting one, looking forward to that journal...

Hi mate :-)

Glad you found Pick n Mix seeds useful, they really hit on something when they started splitting the packs and selling seeds individually, and you always get an equal section of the pack so you can see you are getting the real deal :-) Normally takes just a couple of days to get them. My last order for 3 x SW fems they messed up and sent me 3 regular SW's! I emailed them and they answered within a couple of hours and sorted it out for me with an apology, good customer service.

I've never tried making seeds myself mate but you can simply dust a couple of lower buds as many do, or pollenate the whole plant, but you want to select a good female and male, the mutant SW lady you have is a good one :-). Good luck if you try it. AK48 x SW..... what you going to call it? :-) From growing the Nirvana AK48 in the past I'd say its a good solid reliable yielder and like you say, a real stinker.

tamjam, hope you didnt mind me passing on the 2 Trainwreck clones you sent me? They went to a nice lady grower friend who enjoys her cannabis. Both the Big Bangs are rooted now and they sound real good according to Greenhouse seeds don't they. I just know I could not have contained the Trainwrecks in my small cab having seen yours.

Bigman, the Big Bang is a known medical strain, might be worth you looking into maybe?

Hope the weathers as good down there as it is here today tamjam? SW and Super T for me tonight :-) Have a great weekend mate :-)

first up i want to say how surprised i was with the speedy delivery!! i recieved the seeds today! as soon as i got home from work i started germinating them so my little breeding project has now started :mrgreen: gonna go and see if i can leave feedback at pick n mix seeds website.

hello MS im very impressed that they got the seeds to me 24 hours later very happy with that :) i think i will collect the pollen and then just pollenate some individual buds and see how that turns out, either way im gonna have some ak48 seeds and some SW48 seeds for free i will probably still grow some different strains here and there but i just thought it would be nice to also have a supply of seeds for back up.

thats cool about the trainwrecks mate, i hope your friend gets to finish them and i really dont think they would have worked in that box of yours!! i cant wait to see the bigbangs once they take off.

as for the weather its been pretty warm but raining and drizzling on and off so not very nice really, i heard on the news that up your way it has been over 30 today and that tonight is gonna be around 20 and they are worried about old people dying and stuff !?!?!?!?

just a bottle of wine for us tonight!! im in work tomorrow for 5 hours 7:30 - 12:30 and then when i get home i have to do some welding on a friends car oh well gonna save myself until we have a big BBQ/party in a few weeks time :mrgreen::eyesmoke:

INcredible pics mate :-) .... Just look at that Trainwreck go! But all 3 are BIG, the colas are forming up nicely and the stems are thick enough to support a heavy yield :-) I bet you double the yield on that reveg compared to first time round, just comparing them to my old Purple Rhinos,( the last big yielding plants I grew) I'd say youre on course for a good couple of OZ's from each of those beauties tamjam :-) The best I ever did was 1 and 3/4 OZ's dry from one of my Rhino's under HPS, but your plants look bigger to me potentially :-) I got everything crossed here for a bountiful harvest for you mate, but the condition of those plants says to me that theyre going to fly.

re the weather, yes its real hot here, the village is filling up with daytrippers coming down by the coach full!!!! I stay away from the beach on busy times like this but I was over there with the dog at 8 this morning and it was beautiful and quiet over there, more like being down on the med with the sun sparkling on the water :-) About 6pm when it quietens down again we'll go over for a splash about :-)
