anyone know where to get pots without drain holes that are cheap looking for 1gallon to 3.5 gallon sizes looking to spend less then $3.00 each

you might try a google search, or you might want to make a few differnt threads asking instead of looking.

why pots without holes? Will only kill plants. I have tried most every pot from 1-5 gallons. The best product I've used is the .20 cent baggie pots you can get at a hydro shop in 1-5 gallons. They have holes premade in em. Reusable... The 2 reasons I really like em is because you can pack your plants together and when full of water weight a lot and easy to tell when they are light/in need of watering. Use masking tape for strain and flower date with sharpe. super investement for close to nothing. I have also compared clones in size pots 1, 2, 3 and 5 gallon pots. My experience is the 2 gallon is best overall with no real difference in final product. Bigger 3/5 gallons take more space so less plants can be grown. Comparing root balls I am not seeing much difference 2,3 and 5 gallons. Remember, this is a 9 to 11 week plant to finish. The rootball doesn't have enough time to grow out of the 2 gallon pot in most every pot I've seen. Now this is a nature product so I have seen the occasional clone that turned for some odd reason into super clone or midget clone. Not wasting my time with anything other then 2 gals. now with a couple 3 gallons when vegged a long, long time...my of research....

Oh, check out walmart trash cans for good deals. they are square for good compact size and 4 gallons about 3 bucks. Note the 4 gallon really is only a 3 gallon square pot/trash can for plant size. Most likely a marketing bs. for them to say they are bigger then really noted...Drill holes in bottom as needed.

i need a bucket with no holes so i can make one 2 inch from bottom .. great idea about small garbage cans though there shape will better suit my space also

make what? Not sure what your saying but I used the walmart pot till i found the baggie pots allowed me almost 5 more plants in the same area because I could pushem together. Found that garden ridge stores had pot run off clear plastic 10' saucers that is about 4 inchs high so I could catch water with no runoff worries. Use a turkey baster to remove excess water..

my experience says not really a good idea. This plant likes to have a day of drying out air to the roots before watering. I want holes in bottom and sides for full draining. If you have holes only at 2 inches the plant will stay moist/wet causing knats, other issues and will not dry before next watering. This plant is a weed by nature...look in your yard at weeds. They thrive when they dry out a little before watering.

Lol " and never use the search engine" i don't get why you'd want a pot without holes, but home depot buckets would work great for that, they're like $2.50 a piece. Oh did i mention the best pots in the world don't have holes in the bottom? HAHA no really smart pots don't have any holes in the bottom, I guess the water sort of seeps through since its a fabric material. happy growing all

the little water/ nutrients left in the bottom will act as a reservoir so i can water every other day by da 2 the pot will be very dry but not to were it shocks my girls
