so when do we get to smoke these bitches :)
They aren't 'due' into flowering for a month. I've got two sets ahead of them and I space them 2 weeks apart, so I'd guess around, Halloween, with a nice cure ! But by then, the outdoor Mangos should be done too, so we can compare. In-doe or out-doe? That is the question that will be fun finding an answer to!

Right on for stopping by RM3, this is 'your' grow too brother, putting what you've taught to use

Right on man, thanks for stopping by. The prozyme is a good quality product, no doubt. I'm trying to find out how necessary everything is and starting with the most basic, but high quality, is a good beginning. I always used the entire line so I don't know how much difference each product makes.

If you get a chance read Riddleme's thread called Nutes on A Budget (he's posted on this thread and there is a link in his signature). That's what got me on the Jacks and Makin it Rain !

Is that a new one from KC Brains? What's the cross? I love the Mango it's my 'producer'. I also have 3 big Mango's outside, there's a link in my signature. They are beasts, not 5 feet high, but at least 5 feet accross. Actually surprised the Agent Orange is keeping pace.

Thanks much for checkin in on the journal, I appreciate it !

I've been following Riddleme's writings and am switching from the full line of Humboldt a&b schedule, 14 parts, to simple Jack's Classic Duo. The JC Grow is 20-20-20 and the Bloom Booster is 10-30-20. For micros I will supplement with Dyna-grow-Liquid Grow which is 7-9-5 and has everything. I will use a Mycorrhizae supplement and I may add a silica supplement, but that's about it. I will be using Humboldt's soiless mix with nothing added to that mix.

They are in 3 inch pots and just made the switch from the t-5's to the 250w MH. They got their first rain on friday and a shot of Jack's on Sunday. They have had a nice growth spurt. :hump:

Hey thanks Illumination. Had to look up Namaste, thought maybe it was your name, but low and behold, it's a great sign of respect and greeting ! (let me know if that's correct)

I'm gonna return the favor and take a run through your journal this weekend brother.

When do you think they will be finished up and harvested? I put out all 8 week strains hoping to be done before it gets cold here in the Rockies. I was thinking maybe middle of October?

Along for this ride too brother! You just have to love the simplicity of this way of growing. Back to the basics with information for anyone to use. If you follow along with what Riddle's thread's teach, than you should be able to complete a successful grow start to finish with out breaking the bank and achieving from what I have seen, better results than M/J specific products. I was trying to remember if I have read any questions for help when using the Jack's.

Sorry for rambling,:eyesmoke:

Jacks classic, vermiTeA, want to incorporate molasses and superthrive. Either siliicanblast or getting cal+mag.

I'm aiming for mid to late october.

Sex : Regular
Type : Indica
Flowering : Photoperiod
Genetics : Mango & KC 33
Flowering Time : Medium, Long
Outdoor Harvest : September
Height : Tall
THC Level : Medium
Characteristics : as a sweet mango smell and taste with an even, mellow body sensation stone.

KC Brains Mind Bender is mostly indica hybrid of KC special selection between a Double KC 2/ KC 33 and an Afghani. As any other KC product, Mango cannabis seeds were created to satisfy tastes of cannabis smokers and bring some variety in their gardens.
KC seed breeder manage to improve the qualities of their KC strains of marijuana and bring them to a new higher level. Mindbender seeds can be now grown indoors as well as outdoors. This marijuana strain became easy to grow in pots, she performs well in soil and hydroponics setups. Thorough selection, various lab experiments gave her an ability to resist diseases. Thorough seed selection carried out by KC Brain guarantees nearly 80% germination. Their Mindbender seeds grow in typically indica way; they are quite short and bushy, with wide dark green shade which sometimes turned red during flowering. The average size of a plant is about 120 cm; however, growing outside, she can stretch up to 2 m. high.

This marijuana variety is definitely the one with great potentials. After a quite a short flowering period (7-10 weeks), so typical for indica dominated crosses, Mindbender go into fast budding. The better conditions you can create for her, the better yield she will produce in return. This cannabis plant has massive big buds covered with sticky crystals full of THC, she is a great producer and has an early harvest. These plants have very pleasant slightly hash aroma which will carry out through flowering and maturing period. Like any other indica medical marijuana strain, Mindbender has a higher yield than any other sativa variety and make it average as high as 800 gr. per outside plant, and not less than 150 per indoor one. Medicine produced from this cannabis has higher CBD and lower THC counts, therefore she produces a heavier, sleepy type of high, ideal for total body and mind relax and pain relief.
Her smoking is said to taste very purple like with an unusually clear buzz, when smoked sensibly, and a slightly delayed couchlock stone. The taste of the smoke is sweet and smooth, and the high is very strong with no hangover or ill effects.
CUP WINNER!
10 Cannabis Seeds per pack

That's true, I don't see anybody screaming, Jacks killed my plants or how much will this _____ supplement increase my yields? So it's doing it's job. I'm using it on the outdoor grow too, soon as I finish off the humboldt, which goes Quick outside.

Ramble on my man, Ramble on

This is from the Jacks Classic grow guide on tomatoes:

• You may want to add about a teaspoon of Epsom salts to your applications of 20-20-20 to provide some additional Magnesium to the plants nutritional regimen. Magnesium is part of the chlorophyll molecule and obviously very important in the process of photosynthesis.

So I think you are right in wanting to supplement there, but in keeping it simple and cheap, you might want to consider the epsom salts, dirt or shall I say salt cheap?

I think superthrive has a place in rooting clones and transplants but beyond that, I don't think it has a noticeable effect. If you really like it, maybe use it as a foliar feed?

I haven't decided on using molasses or a sugar supplement, probably not the first run, so I'll have something to compare it to.

I believe in the silica supplement wholeheartedly, especially since I plan to make these branches Heavy with big buds, I think the silican blast is like 50% or more silica? But it's freakin expensive too. I'm thinking about the Dyna gro protekt, but it's only like 7%, I believe but cheap? I think I'll start with the cheap and then if I do decide on the expensive, I will have a reference to decide if it's worth the extra dough or not.

I am also going to supplement with dyna gros 'Grow' formula for the extra micros, if and when needed. Maybe every 3rd or 4th time they get nutes. I noticed that Riddleme did this with Matilda.

wat kind of carb to you use?
First off, nice change on the avatar, it is All About The Nation Baby and I'm here behind enemy lines, in Denver !

I may run the first set without one. Or maybe do half. I have almost a full bottle of the humboldt honey es and I also have half a bottle of black strap molasses. I won't use those outdoors for bugs, so I may use them or at least experiment, I've got 8 to a set and I'm perpetual so there's room for screwing around.

These mangos will be the first set on the jacks start to finish. I've noticed all the purpling is nearly gone and the stems are thicker than the Goddess plants a full month ahead of them. Under the 250w MH they have grown a little over 2 inches since my last pictures, I think on Wednesday. Can't wait to see them hit the 400w, probably on Monday.

Trying to decide if I should update every 3-4 days or once a week for full effect? What do you guys think?
