what wrong with my plants, they are all clones, leaves started turning this bright yellow a couple days ago pretty mch right after they were transplanted to 3 gallon pots. I fed them there first dose of nutes yesterday mybe thinking they are ready for food. they are growing very rapid with no problems besides the color of the new growth. The leaves are not dried out. and like i said the plants are growing very rapid still, not stunted at all.

Would poor drainage cause this?

-ocean forest soil

-Humboldt Nutes 3 part - fed for the first time yesterday at half streangth

-GreenFuse Root Stimulater - 3 mills per gallon:weed:

thats a diffenecy of some sort i think iron (FE) what kind of neuts are you using? id make sure your ph is balanced then flush with that making sure that your soil ph is back to normal and read the labals on your neuts if they have iron in them then it was just a ph problem if they dont have iron in them then you need to find some neuts with iron.. maybe your hose from out side if you have a well. from what i know well water ahs iron in it. if your in the city then idk

It looks to me that its either too hot in your grow room, or they have a nitrogen deficiency, which can be fixed with worm castings (it's sold at nurseries, but I'm pretty sure Lowe's sells it too)

Also, just to be on the safe side, id check for spidermites. I had a plant that turned yellow on me once, but it turned out to be mites.

Also, you should foliar feed until you figure out what the problem is. That'll bypass any problems with your growing medium, and keep the plants happy. :)

^I really doubt it's a nitrogen deficiency. Actually, I know it's not. FF OF soil is really rich in N, and it hasn't been depleted yet, for certain. There's some other problem, but I just can put my finger on it. Plus, I'm too lazy to do the research ATM,lol so here, have a look-see, and you should be able to get some ideas... http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 The yellowing between the veins, and around the edges, can be a sign of magnesium deficiency, but not guaranteed. I never had a mag problem with that soil, especially at such a young age. It's likely another micro nute, or a combo of a few. You'll have to read through some of the others, and see if there's another likely candidate. :)

The temps aren't really low at night, are they? That'll cause yellowing too, but I've never seen it that bad. Hmm....

looks like nitrogen def. what is the npk of your nutes? they need lots of n during veg.
i thought it might be a nitrogen def

whats to low? durring the day the temp is around 80 - 83 max and at night its 74-78 max

have you checked your p.h?..... your avatar cracks my shit up.
i PH my water to 6.4 for every watering. that pic was 1 of my outdoor patches last season.

Definitely not nitrogen. Nitrogen starts from the bottom up. Looks a lot more like Iron or Sulfer def to me.

I would check your Ph as well. Sulfer is locked out at Ph 5.5 and below while Iron gets locked out at 6.5 and above.

like i said i always PH 6.4 every watering.

^Yes, it's definitely not a good thing. Looks like you have a bunch of perlite in them though, so it's not likely the cause. Do you water them thoroughly(heavily) when you water? I sometimes see plants starving, simply because new growers are afraid to water them, wetting ALL the soil. IDK man, if it's not that, and it's not a PH problem, I don't know what to tell ya. I'd flush, then give 'em a nice 1/2 strength dose of fert, something with plenty of magnesium, for sure.

The temps are fine. It'd have to be below 60* to start causing any problems.

you know i realy pact the shit out of the soil in these pots and I just checked them all and they are all waterlogged at the bottom of the pots and i waterd them yesterday morning. I moved the pots around as much as a could to loosen the soil and I used a little skewer to pull out waterlogged soil out of the drain holes and try to remove as much water as i could. Some of the pots water dripped out when i turned them on there side.
