Curling leaf tips

Hi guys not sure if this is a big prob or not but my plant is about 2 weeks into flowering and some of the leaves are starting to curl under but its literaly just the tip on the centeral leaf of the big shade leaves but everything else looks ok? i do have a slight prob with humidity i can only seem to get it up to 15/20% which i know is low!
i have heard from a m8 that leaf tip curling can be a sign of something good but he couldnt remember what?
i have included a few piks for ur help with the issue
also i feed once a week and alternate from just water to low N high P flower nutes.
the plant is himalaya blue diesel.

ok thanks for the quick replys lol. ive been reading about and i think it could be the heat in my room, sometime nearly at 100f and ive read it should be at about 80? but if i lower the heat in my room my humidity drops to 0 and i can only seem to get it up to about 20% if i increase my heat? please help im bloody confused!

that or nute lockup....i have the same problem BUT mine IS WAYYYY worste.
i flushed and filld up gal of water and lettin it sit to evaporate the shit i dont want.

I WOULD LOVE for someone to nail this since i also have the same problem,but way way worste :)

r ur leaves resembling a claw???
if so ,then its N toxicity......flush and use water til new growth looks normal

20% humidity, is fine for flowering, close to ideal, actually. I try to keep mine around 25-30%, so 20% isn't bad at all. Also, you'd have about zero chance of bud mold, which is another plus. Drop those temps, and your plants will be alot happier. That high heat will hurt your plants, alot more than the humidity being a tad low. :)

YEP def the CLAW i jst heard that for the first time from my brother but he wasnt sure what caused "claw"

i flushed last night and after they woke up..i could tell MORE lushish yellowish green was comin back :) ( and im colorblind also) ahaha

jawbrodt:kinda scarin me on humidity levels,hahaa im in vegi,150whps and 8 cfl,humidity is at like 40-50 which is dry/normal mostly on dry though when light is on,obviously. idk waht to do for flowering...im not sure if my humidity levels will go down? any tips

I was talking about flowering, specifically. Veg is best at around 45%, flowering, is more like 30%. There seems to be two opinions on that subject, around here, with one half choosing to keep humidity up around 50%, for the entire grow, and the other half preferring lower humidity during flowering. I prefer reducing the chances of bud mold, over having higher humidity, as many do. :wink:

humidity on its own should not be a problem as long as you keep an eye on the "night" temperatures, cold nights = molds etc,

yea i agree with lower humidity for flowering.hear good stuff.U guyz knw waht causes the leaves to get papery feeling,the "claw",and dark green leaves.
i thought it was a humidity problem..but its good i guess... jst heard N toxcity.and also nute lockup...

wow thanks guys youve been so helpfull so i presuming best thing is to flush. so i understand flushing but can anybody advise how much water i should pour on her and the best way to let it drain through im thinking about putting her in the bath for a whiel and doing it that way, i dont mean to sound such a noob but im so nervous with this girl as i have done three grows so far and ended up with 5 males and one hermie across all of them so now i have a fem i really dont wanna buger it up shes and auto if that helps?

On my plant I trimmed the tips of the leaves off as each layer begins to come in because a friend of mine that's been growing for 20 years said that it's all about your neuts shooting to the top. Trimming the tips i think...would help with that extra growth that isn't needed, and on your pics at the top it's very easy to see that extra growth i'm talking about.

millerboy: if u have fed them N and MOASH has diagnose(spelling) both of our grows of N toxity then lay off that and flush,reg. water for a bit.THANK MOASH

thers a few ways to regulate PH u can get PH down and up i think.thers some stuff u can also put in but i forgot,sorry. SHOOT for 6.5 ph
LEmonGblazin:ive heard good things and tips about trimmin off ends of leaves...HOW IS IT GOIN FOR YOU?! i thought i may do that too here pretty soon,since i can def tell the top of the plant isnt gettin fed as well as the bottom branches.

also can any one recomend the best soil or compost i can get to grow in, i dont wanna mess about with mixing this in with that but i dont mind adding a bit of perlite etc but more or less something i can use stright out of the bag. i live in the uk by the way so none of this walmart crap lol.
