Waiting on 5 Easy Ryder fem. seeds to arrive from Attitude for my first grow and I have a question about water. I was going to grow 2 of the Easy Ryders indoors to begin with (and probably 1 outside), and my question pertains to the 2 plants I'm going to grow indoors.
From what I've read it seems that a 2 to 2.5 gallon pot is ideal for an Easy Ryder, so I was looking at various 2-gallon pot options online just killing time. In so doing I came across this product -> HERE <- (sold at a few different places) which has 2, 1.93 gallon pots in one container, and a gravity fed automatic watering system which requires no pumps, electricity, or timing, and is supposed to keep an optimum water level in the soil. Looks perfect for my needs. Anyway, I was wondering what people thought about using something like this as a watering solution/planter solution for Easy Ryders. I can water manually of course, but this would cut down on the maintenance.

hello peep im growin fast bud and they seen to strech very easyly my 600w hps is only like 17inchs from the tops and they still seem to be streching has anyone els found this whos growin it? thanks

Until you get some feedback I would not waste my time or money on that thing. There are other similar ones on amazon. Since this will be your first grow keep it simple. I did my easyrider in a 1.5 gallon pot and got a nice yield. You can pick up a cheap pot for like 2-3 bucks at a home depot or walmart and the money you have left over you can spend on decent soil and something to feed them. Wuts up yall im going nuts i have 5 lowriders growing in a closet set up i planted the seeds 58 days ago and i still have no sex and these thing are huge i read that they are only supposed to grow 12 to 16 inches but they are about 26 to 30 inches tall............my reasoning behind it is im a new grower and these plants just went through some sh** lol i think i gave them nutrient burn because the leaves turned black and fell off not all the leaves just some would that have delayed flowering........i just put them on a 12/12 to see wut happens ......is that a bad idea.please helpView attachment 1092776

Yeah, I got some regular LR2 seeds from nirvana and the first one is 41 days old and no signs of sex either. I put it on a 12/12 regiment 4 days ago because I too am doing the LR2's in a closet and that plant was exploding and crowdind out my other feminized LR2 (also from Nirvana) the fem LR2 flowered 10 days ago and is lookin decent for a 1st grow. i'll keep you posted as to what the other one does, hopefully its not a male!

hello peeps would i be able to put 16 autos under a 250w CFL for the first 2 to 3 weeks of there lives so they will nearly be flowering when my next lot are done? any help asap would be great!

Sounds like they ripped you off or there was a mix up.
Nirvana doesn't sell LR2. Do you mean gypsie nirvana? They are known for screwing people from what I read.

For those with unstable auto's, switch to 12/12 otherwise you will end up with a monster just like a regular photoperiod strain..

your telling me i a made a box for them and they grew out of it now there just in my bathroom closet... at least they get some humidity.... wont the plants produce more since they are bigger, also were can i buy the best autoflowering seeds?

I appreciate the feedback Hemp, I'll take it under advisement.
Still wondering though if this system or one like it would technically work ok (and not overwater or underwater the plants), even if it might be considered to be an unnecessary cost since it's not very cheap. I do like the idea that I could leave the plants unattended for a few or more days with a system like this and a timer for the lights, so I'm still curious if anybody has used one, or can at least comment about it. Bear in mind we're talking just about just 2 Easy Ryders. I also wonder if anybody has used those water globe things that you fill up and stick in the soil, and they're supposed to provide the correct amount of water to the plant over a period of a few to several days. Is there anything similar that anybody could recommend that will keep one or two plants watered properly for a brief period of time that doesn't require a fancy/expensive system?
