Dude that SS is a badass plant, awesome trichs. She's gonna be ready in another 4 weeks bro. BV is lookin like it needed that topping, but man it's gettin awful pale at the bottom. The SLH seems like it's doin ok, it needs you to top it too Chris, I promise it will be happy. In fact I would top it, then wait a day or two & chop the bottom most set of nodes. You can do that with the BV too, it will spur the upper growth.
Check out my new bud porn. I finally figured out how to really use the macro setting effectively on my camera, & they are taken under cfl's not the hps so the color isn't all washed out.

yeaaa im really happy with the SS. every1 keeps tellin me its an early finisher.. that it might be done in like 7 weeks? but idk. this is the 1st skunk i've grown. but yeaa im gonna top the slh soon as well.. adn yeaa the bottom leaves on the BV are lookin bad. lol. theyre yellow.. and actually have sum purple in it too. lol. i was plannin on choppin a lillte bit off the bottom.. but not too much because i already chopped sum off the bottom... and BlueBerry plants are super super sensitive to nutes and ph levels and stuff.. which is why i think its yellowing so much. =/
and yeaa if u have a magnifying glass.. 3x-5x... u can take ur camera.. put it on macro.. and put the lens right up th ethe magniflying glass.. so that the lens is touching it.. and get REALLY close up to the buds and hold the button lightly so that it will focus.. adn then take the pic. thats how i get my closeups. its worth a try

Ya those were some damn good close ups of that skunk. I wouldn't trust it to be ready in 3 weeks but definitely 4-41/2. As far as the BV, there has to be a solution to that particular problem. Thing is the SLH is showing a similar thing too, so something is going on there that those two strains are sensitive to that the SS & it's obviously hearty genes don't care about...

yeaa. i like takin the cloeups. =) love seein the crystals up close. and yeaa they are both doin the same thing. well i jsut moved the blue venom into the closet to start flowering. soo im gonna see how it does now that its flowering. gonna transplant it too in a day or 2. think that might help.
thanks man. i like to try to use at least 4 CFL's per plant during veg. 1 on top and 3 along the sides. the more the better obviously.. but 4 is good. i have a mix between 100 watt and 150 watt CFL's. i think theres 3 150 watt ones and 1 100 watt one. and i always run a mixed spectrum during flowering.. during veg i use Daylight CFL's.. i like to use 1 2700K durin veg too. and during flowering i like to go 1/2 and 1/2. if u have any otha question jsut lemme knowww

ok chb444 another question for ya.my seedlings have now got there first true leafs but the stems have stretched loads to be honest?ive got a fan on them too to try and strenthen them up but there still stretchin an just blowing all over wen the fan hits them.any idea whats going on man.cheers

how far away do you have the CFl from the top of the plant? i dont know any other reason it would stretch that much? if you have another pot.. u could transplant it now.. and just bury the stem as far down as u want. thats wat i would do.

Nice, my girlfriend and I are looking into growing are own dope and we have almost everything except lights and seeds, we only want to grow 1 or 2 plants for this first time though and i was thinking of buying 6, 42 watt CFL's daylights for vegging and for flowering 6, 42 watt 2700k bulbs, im just wondering if that would be enough lumens for 2 plants inside of a dresser, not sure how big i guess average size.
Anyways thanks for your time and if i knew how to sub to you i would

yeaa growing ur own bud is WELL worth it man.. well worth it. i just started doing it recently too.. well i mean i ahve a few grows under my belt now.. but i've only been doin it a lil over a year. and im still young too. only 22.
but 3 cfl's per plant would be ok.. it could probly use more... if i were u.. i would veg using the 4 daylight CFL's... and throw 3-4... maybe even all 6 of the 2700K with the daylight bulbs for veg. in my opnion.. running mixed spectrum is better. and if u do that.. that would give u double the amount of lights. just put 3 of each on each plant. they would turn out really nice like that.
and for seeds.. either go to attitude or Nirvana... i really like Nirvana.. their prices are really good. adn genetics are good. but dont have that big of a selection.. attitude has over 1,000 strains.. adn nirvana has like 30-40. nirvana's website is www.nirvana-shop.com the super skunk im growing now is from nirvana.. adn my other 2 White Widow plants i grew b4 this were from nirvana as well... if u need any help throughout ur grow.. i'd be glad to help ya along the way

If you plan it right. you could run all 12 of your lights for veg and flower. Your baby will love that for sure. Start a thread and throw up some pictures of your dresser. I could throw you some pointers.
Also scroll up to where the black/dark blue bar is and find "Thread Tools" and there you go.

figure 1. For the bottom though; if your dresser has that open space at the bottom like i show you in the picture, than go for that idea. But if the bottom doesn't have enough space, then i would say build a shelf to make a taller open space for intake air.
The 120mm fan intake: Either have them right on top of each other, or in a zig-zag pattern.
And if temps are low you could buy 2 light sockets with long cords
And use them to light the lower sides of your plants.
It's up to you to use the internet or local hardware stores to find supplies.

@R2thizz Thanks for all the help man, At the bottem of my dresser there is like a piece of wood type material that covers the whole bottom, I was thinking about Having 2 Fans directly in the dresser, and then one that points out of the closet. And as of now I am doing the same light technique as above, criss cross all different lights, Im using those Y connectors too.
