I've looked around my place and I don't have any but I've been asking friends and I think 1 is going to let me barrow a large green tarp she has for camping, hopefully that would be an easier kind of cover if I do get to use it
a green one should be a nice covering..:)

Not much is new except the plants are all flowering more and more every day :) It's amazing to watch, they are so beautiful. I think G.G's clone will be the first to harvest as she is farther along than all the rest. I included some pictures of the view of weather today. Natural AC was on :p

I'm transplanting the GDP family tomorrow as I just got another job! :hump:I've been wanting to work at this garden store close to where I live for the longest time as it's convenient and right up my alley so to speak. Well, one of their employees is off to Nepal for some environmental reason, I'm sure and I've been asked to fill her place at $12 an hour which is more than I get paid now  As well as a nice and useful 40% discount on everything and they have this fantastic selection of organic nutes and medium, it's like a dream come true :)

Also managed to complete my essays for my critical thinking class on time. My method of success is homework first, then party as a reward (whatever party or fun activity I'd rather be doing instead of homework). It's worked quite well for me and I'm getting solid A's. I recommend it to everyone :blsmoke:

Now off to do some Statistics homework...
Here are some 37 pictures from today, ENJOY!:peace:

Hey Doozie,
Yea I saw your video of the lights. I'm sitting there listening to you and thinking thats nothing, looks to be about the same amount of light you would get from the stars and the moon. Then those cars came around the corner and you let it slip "fuck thats bright" I cracked up! Thanks for the laugh but still I dont think the light is enough to bother the plants but its hard to say for sure. If you got a friend who is a photographer they might have a light meter you can use. Its for low light and most do use them, You want it to register less the 4 or 5 lums/lux I think.

Also if you would rather use youtube you can. Just create a new gmail address and sign on to youtube with that. (Google owns youtube) When it asks you if you want to merge the account (it will probably recognize the facebook cookie) click no. They will be separate. I do it for the same reason.

Ya know, after looking again at your pics, the light does not come from above right, you can just take some cardboard or something and line the inside walls up about 3 or 4 feet and the headlights wouldnt hit them directly but the sun would right?

Yeah, my issue is that I'd have to get them up every night and take them down every morning and I work a job where (part-time) I have to wake up and leave way before the sun rises and don't get back until late morning. It's just inconvenient for me. I can only rely on myself to fulfill these tasks....so I guess I'm testing it...

That time-frame still sounds like it's doable to me. Just remove the cardboard in the late morning, after you get home, no? Or just yank them out before you go to work, which is an hour or so before sunrise?

In any event, (I have nothing to base this on) . . . I don't think those lights will harm your crop.

By the way, well done on securing a nice part-time job, and knocking out those essays. You deserve the credit, but I bet your Persian parents had something to do with your success. If you've spent any time on this site you'll know what I'm talking about.

Yes, theoretically I could do that but another problem is that my deck with the greenhouse is actually a deck connected to my parents bedroom meaning I'd have to enter and walk across my parents bedroom to get out there which they don't like when they're trying to sleep before a long day of work. I've decided to see what happen with this light they've lived with since they've been flowering just fine with no sign of stress or balls.
Thanks! I think my parents influence on me was definitely part of why I am the way I am :) I hear ya about a majority of people on this site; to most I'm like

thats a pretty cool view from your deck, plants look good and that double seed is wicked.
Thanks man! x3

So far the experiment to see if ambient light is affecting the plants negatively is turning out well, the plants are all flowering nicely with no balls or stress shown :hump:

Big Blue and G.G's clone are racing to the finish, I'm thinking mid-October:blsmoke:

GDP's are lagging along, getting used to superthrive for transplant
Got some roots organic medium coming! That should help the GDP's finish strong

Fall is here for sure, the temps are back to low 70's and humidity is up which is a good thing, anything to keep pests at bay

Here are pictures!

Buds are beginning to swell on G.G's clone and on Big Blue and my, my are they looking lovely. I got a little sunburned spending time out there staring at them today while I was doing some reading for school :)

But it was worth it

The wind chimes are doing something positive I think, the plants seem to be enjoying the gentile ting'sof them in the wind

Here are pictures from right before the sun went down
Everything is going quite well thus far and I'm quite pleased though I'm poised for disaster, Murphy is always around the corner...
