yes you need drainage holes in the bottom of the pots. what type of lights? what water do you use? do you use fertilizer? what are your temps? tell us all about the entire operation. the more we know the more insight we may have.

I am very new to this man i have got a pretty simple op. I have two seventy five watt Florescent bulbs in my closet that is about it...i have it in miricale grow potting soil....and the only fertilizer that i use is miracle grow quick start it has 4% nitrogen 12% phosphate and 4% Soluable potash i was putting one cap full per gallon of water every two or three times i watered it. but since i brought it in i have been afraid to water it becase the soil has not dried hardley any....I am putting drain holes in the bottom of it tomorrow do you think that it is to late to be saved the bottom four leaves the biggest ones is the ones that looked the worst so i took them off. Please give some advice i wil get pics up tomorrow as soon as i figure out how

I would suggest you repot with another soil. The only thing I will use miracle gro soil for is the garden....mixed with my compost at that.
If you are determined to use the miracle gro, amend it with some sand, vermiculite and perilite.

I'd aim to get three or four more 42 watt cfl's.
You will get a feel for watering with due time.
Some strains feed/drink more or less than others.
Start light and go from there.

Crazy as it sounds, good dirt isn't cheap, but you can get a rather large bag of quality soil for 18-20 bucks.....and it's well worth the little extra money.:leaf:

42 watt CFL's are the equivalent to 150 watts. If you're on a tight budget, periodically add a bulb here and there.....and don't shoot for putting three or four more plants into flower until you do.
Ditch the "grow lights"...basically good for nothing when growing bud.

Where did you get the 75 watt light from?Ive seen a 75 watt grow light but not cfl they usually some halogen lights not good for growing. You can use 4 -23 watt cfls to start the veg going nicely.
