heres my kandy kush from seed grew real nice like trainwreck she actually was touching the floor when i took her out
Damn those are some swollen buds right there, thanks for sharing!! I'm assuming it was a good yield? How was the smoke?

Here's the mystery girls after there first day under the metal halide!! They seemed to love it, the MH light is about 20 inches away from the top of the canopies right now. I'll probably move it a few inches closer tomorrow and see how they react! Lmk what you think and how close you guys are keeping your HID's..

Looks good, I'm subscribed. I use the Foxfarms soluables, althought it's only my second grow, I think that they are a good product.

Glad to have you showstopper, I really like the cfl scrogg you have going on!!
I'll be watching to see how the solubles work out for ya!! I'll most likely end up getting the cha ching at least for the end of this grow. For now they will be getting plenty of tiger bloom and big bloom
I'll start the molasses soon aswell. Do you use any molasses?

yes got 2.5 oz from her dried and the smoke was earthy i would grow kandy kush again

Looking good smelly ! Thanks for checking out my grow ! I use a 250 hid also and i keep it down about 8 inches from the glass to the canopy . No light burn at all . I did get some burn flowering my sour diesel but had it about 2 inches from glass . 8 no prob though.
As for the molassas goes it's most beneficial if your organic and your soil is living , it feeds the microlife and actually broadens your chances of nutrient uptake at different ph levels .

Damn, not bad!! Earthy humm, I guess I will be able to taste it soon enough.. So it didn't have much of a taste then, my shortrider is kind of earthy bud has a skunky yet fruity aroma.. I'm happy with it though..
Thanks WBW!! My temp is a little on the high side now though, I should start looking into a good fan/carbon filter combo.. Any suggestions?? Its about a 2x3 area that I'm growing in..??

thanks for the tip on the light, I don't have the glass on this MH so maybe around 12-15" will be the sweet spot for me?? Again I need to work on getting some of this hot air out first.. Last grow I mixed the molasses in with the nutes, the problem I'm having now is I don't use a hole gallon so the molasses goes bad after a day or so.. I guess I will have to start mixing it seperate in a smaller container.. thanks for the explination, I don't have anything to compare it to but I've been using it since I started growing..

I was just looking on a local hydro site at a very similar setup. 4" inline fan 160cfm for 100 + another 69 for the Carbon filter. I'm gonna have to give htg a look, thaks!

I transplanted the kandy kush into a 2 gal pot today and decided to tie her down!! I also threw her in the flowering room to get some light from the MH, I will probably veg her for one more week and then its game time!! I'm just running out of room...

hey, this is what im looking at, Medical 1024 looks like some real potent shit. its mostly sativa and takes like 13 weeks, but very high thc and cbd content so would be worth the wait. hows that HID light workin for ya?

I havn't had a chance to use molasses, but was thinking about using it for 2 weeks after the 8 week Foxfarm flowering cycle. I've heard that the sugars in the molasses help the buds bulk up, and gives it a smoother taste. I figured it would be like a semi flush, how much would you mix in with a gallon of water.

The hid is workin like a champ, I'll post some more pics tomorrow. It was getting a little to hot so I took the two big 68w cfl's out for now until I either get that fan or figure something else out..

I did 1 tablespoon per gallon my last grow, I don't have anything to compare it to though lol..
Just remember, it goes stale after a day or 2, I don't think you'll have that problem because you have a lot more to water than I do

Yeah Smelly forgot to mention my light has glass and is got a 4in inline fan blowing through . I,d look into it for sure the light diminishes par value quick after 12 inches or so , you want to take full advantage of the money your paying to run it you know .
