heat sensors and cops

hey this may sound paranoid but i heard that marijuana plants absorb a ton of heat so that its easy to see with the heat sensors. simple true or false question from me. because this will effect where i put my crop

this is true, cops fly over in choppers using infra red waves to detect heat. Plant near evergreens they produce much the same heat, although i wouldnt worrier bout it unless i had a big op goin on.

There are verified stories of cops using helicopters, electricitybills and other means to open investigations on "properties". The next step in some of these cases is to bring a dog and walk it in front of the HOME in "question"...

if the dog gives the THUMBS up.. the po po ccan get a warrant...

helicopter fly-overs of public land may be legit. but scanning entire neighborhoods by chopper or car is illegal and generally not practiced UNTIL they have a reasonable reason to suspect one particular house.

It's the government. Who cares if its illegal, if they WANT to do it, theyll do it anyway, and it wont make a difference. But either way you have nothing to worry about unless your growing 10,000 plants in perfect rows

A good, nicely tended marijuana plant looks "greener" compared to other plants around it, that's how they spot it outdoors in the day.

during the summer u can see weed choppers flying by from time to time, and no its not illegal for the 5-0 to run heat sensors up and down peeps property.

So how do you get away with growing if you see choppers flying all around your house all the time? I live right by a airport and I see alot of choppers flying over but its winter time so its all good for now. What will happen if you made a grow box out of a refrigherter? I know I didn't spell that right but you know what I mean.

if ur growin indoor i wouldnt worry about the choppers, as its much harder to make a warrant out of a small heat detection in ur home too many variables to take into consideration in the house. mostly outdoor grows get busted by the copter, my suggestion for that is keep plants a good distance apart. its all about how many plants u have.

Agreed, but indoors your good, without that warrant. Also without that warrant a working dog cannot go in your front yard to smell. Also being someone who has worked with working dogs, they will most likely not smell it at the range of your side walk/to your house unless you are doing absolutely nothing for odor control and venting directly towards the streat on purpose.

Speaking from personal exp, working dogs are not reliable unless they are within 5 feet of the product. And they are dumb as rocks. They get false hits all the time and you end up searching someone because the dog is getting old and doesnt know the difference between some dope and a pack of gum in a persons pocket. They are only expected to be right about 30 persent of the time when they actually say they smell something.

It's funny since I've busted over 900 operations and dealers and now i grow for personal use. I spose the difference between me and people in my previous profession, I dont grow to sell, I grow because i had a mishap that has left me in allot of pain, so i love the herb. And its none of the governments bussiness how i choose to treat my condition that they left me with...sons of bitches.....call me a hypocrit, i know i am one
