Heard it was China flexing with ICBM's prior to the G20 so they could hammer us on devaluing our currency so much in recent months. Wouldn't surprise me if they were pinging Russia or somewhere in eastern Siberia pinning it on us. Navy still stands by their claim that they know nothing... we'll see. I doubt you'll ever find out the answer to Who? I just hope we don't "absorb" any nuclear attacks from anyone. Cause if it was me lobbing the first grenades, I'd lay down firepower superiority like you've never seen. Just knowing that a government signed a treaty to "absorb" a nuclear strike would be cause enough for me to unload 50 to 75 percent of my payload.

My take is that we probably saw what was tacitly an OPEN WEAPONS DEMONSTRATION. The military wont ever disclose what exactly it was, and anyone who believes that the DoD and FAA can't track projectiles leaving a gi-fucking-gantic trail behind them over class A airspace in the second most populated city in the country deserves to be stripped of their rights and thrown in an asylum.
Or the flip side, which I don't think it is, is that it was a foreign launch and they were doing the demonstration.
And if it was a plane out of Hawaii why is it ASCENDING into on coming air traffic? The planes from LAX shoot out over the pacific and if it was coming from Hawaii it would have been WAY above the airspace, if even at all permitted. The thought of this being a plane is bordering the absurd given the known details and circumstances.

I think a more important question is WTF was the FAA doing in LAX that they cant produce a flight plan to confirm this Hawaii>Arizona BS?
Class A-airspace...no records...no confirmations...massive public sightings...they know nothing? Seriously?
This will be one of those things that they let everyone else explain for them but in the end the govt will just "debunk" all offered answers and offer no credible replacement.
except the only person that saw it was that helicopter. there were no "massive public sitings".

That's not true at all dude... I live in LA, people saw the trail. The trail was visible, the news chopper was the only one to take a video of it.

I should say, unless i'm looking at something with a view that it may not be as it appears, or i am specifically looking for something, if i saw a contrail or missile exhaust 35 miles out to see and had no reason to scrutinise it, i'd have ust ignored it as a plane.
As ti the single video, can't really say but well, i don't take video's of something unless i am recording it for a specific reason, that is to say again, if i had just seen a random contrail/exhaust 35 miles out to sea, i'd have most likely ignored it, certainly wouldn't have thought to video it, whereas a news copter will shoot at anything that might be worthy of broadcast or a story.
Plus the governemnt said there was no security threat, how can they claim no threat when they acn't give a piece of information with what it is let alone who it came from. Plane my arse.

so all these people saw it, yet not ONE of them took a pic? must have been pretty unusual, eh?
how can you logically defend the fact that NO ONE else took a single pic?
